  • 3i or just 3? cant find anything in regards to 3i

here is the details on the 3…
    http://worldwide.bose.com/axa/en_au/web/quietcomfort_3/page.…
if they are the 3 that seems like a pretty good price.. they are even more on amazon…

    • Hi wisc, sorry for the confusion. They are indeed the QC3.

      • pretty good price then, I'm after something below 150, let me know when you have another pretty good deal around that price!

  • does the inline mic/remote work for Android?, or can an adapter be purchased to make it work

    • Hi haz, usually you'll find the remote works to a limited extent (ie. play/pause and not much else). Not 100% sure on an adapter - maybe check eBay (the difference between the two is that the earth and mic pins are in the opposite positions)? We don't have any sadly.

    • nah, you cant. apparently the hardwares (to read the signal) are patented by apple therefore the cable will only works for ios devices.
yeah strange but this is true, google it.

    • The remote works for volume and skipping songs with my Note 3 and QC3. I haven't tried the mic before though.

  • Any deals on QC25's ?

    • Hi r0dn3y, we'll see what we can do closer to Christmas. Definitely no room to budge at the moment with them just being released.

Awesome deal. Just bought a pair :)

this is very popular but i just cant stand the plastic band.. feel so cheap yet the price is so expensive

    ALSO:
The Bad: The Bose QuietComfort 3s are even more expensive than their predecessors. And when the battery dies, so does the music.

how hard is that to pass through the sound?

    • The quality of the plastic is better than it looks. My dog chewed mine and it survived quite well. These things last and sound awesome, especially on a plane.

I've had mine for 3 years and my brother in law for nearly 8 years now. The only thing that wears is the cushion, a cheap $20 replacement.

The battery dying does mean no sound but they last for days. When it's running flat it blinks and you still get 2 or 3 days out of it. Recharging only takes 30mins to 1hr.

I agree it's expensive - orginally over $600 but they are worth it.

  • I just bought these on a whim, having never tried Bose headphones before. Time to finally upgrade the Pioneer NC31's that I got for $40 from COTD!
