Usenet is becoming increasingly irrelevant. So many posts get nuked within 8 hours of being uploaded. Anything by Warner Brothers, Game of Thrones, games by Japanese publishers, and so on.

  Depends on your provider, there are several Dutch ones that ignore DMCA requests. Even then if 8hrs is accurate, that is plenty of time with readily available auto grabbers available. I use NGD and Astra both do DMCAs relatively quickly, still get everything I want.
