    Its always at this price
    This isn't a sale

    • -2

      here
Google says that it was for $49.99.

      • +3

the link you provided says its $29.99.
I'm pretty sure that this is the usual price for 200ml, I've bought it at this price a few times before, bear in mind i don't think that chemist warehouse perfumes are sold newish, got a feeling its been sitting in the warehouse for a long time because if you compare back to back a Myer version and a chemist warehouse version, the Myer version smells stronger.

        • +2

Agree but what's the deal with perfumes that's just been released and there is a massive price difference, please don't say they are fake..

        • Is there an expiry date for perfumes?

        • +4

something does not smell right here

    • +4

As someone who buys this often. Chemist warehouse standard price is $49.99
It's usually $29.99 when on sale.
Thanks OP I need some more :)

Davidoff Cool Water EDT 125 ml @ 24.99 - haven't seen it cheaper elsewhere.

I have seen cool water at 19.99 once and on top they 10% discount which was insane

      • +1

How do you get 10% discount? I remember there was a code for it.

Can I order online and pick it up?

        • they do it after christmas in boxing day sales.

        • Nah was in store thingy

      • That's a good price. during last year's sale it was 24.99.

  • For those that don't know, CK In2U is a good one too, I get compliments on it all the time from girls ;)

there are many fake perfumes sold at CW

    • That's a big claim to make when they advertise 100% genuine

      • they also advertise they are the cheapest but many items can be found cheaper elsewhere. make sure u compare first. even compare perfumes u bought elsewhere because the smell of fake perfumes won't last as long. there are many good fakes flooding the market these days

        • +2

They're sneaky… their slogan is actually "Australia's Cheapest Chemist?". That little question mark gets them around false advertising!

        • @ClaireChris:
To save their arse from ACER, I guess

        • +1

I actually find their prices for frangance products to be very cheap, quite possibly the cheapest afaik. When comparing to other stores even duty free places at airport like changi. But not sure if they are authentic or fake, maybe that's why that are so cheap lol

        • Meant ACCC, not ACER, lol auto correction on Mobile k/b

        • @ClaireChris: On some of their signs, like the one in Woden, it says, "Is this? Australia's Cheapest Chemist."

    • Really? A national retailer selling fake goods

      • +1

Target has it happy to them few years ago. with makeup.

      • +1

sometimes CW may not know its fake because the supply chain and source can be quite elusive. think of target when they got busted for selling fake cosmetics. my friend use to work at CW and found a few perfumes they were selling did not last as long as ones she bought from Myer. cosmetics and perfumes are a huge industry with massive markups so fakes are common. if the price is too good to be true than it usually is. caveat emptor

        • +6

The CW could be Eau de toilette & the Myer one Eau de parfum, That's why the Myer one lasts longer.

Eau de toilette. Sometimes used to describe the same concentration as cologne, eau de toilette can contain up to around 10% aromatic essence. The top notes – the first scent released by a perfume – are dominant, making it refreshing when it is applied, and it evaporates and fades away quite quickly. Eau de toilette and cologne are the most popular forms in which fragrance is sold, and are particularly appropriate for the summer.

Eau de parfum. After the top notes have died away, the middle notes or heart notes of a perfume become noticeable. This is the focus of eau de parfum which makes it perfect to spray on hair or clothing. (Be careful with delicate fabrics such as silk, though, as they may stain.) The concentration of oils is over 15%, sometimes reaching as high as 20%. Since it is less intense than perfume extract, it is also cheaper, but it usually lasts well and is sold in small sizes.

        • I noticed the same with Chloe purchased from Myer & the one at CW, just didn't smell the same. But, the Hugo Boss was spot on.

      • but this one might be one of the real ones so it might be worthwhile to check with one you bought elsewhere

  • i bought one last year for $27 close to xmas when they had extra $3 off for all fragrances.

Hopefully this will be helpful to a few. I now check before I buy after getting a very old batch

  • The 100ml seems to sell at $25 on special elsewhere. I hope they are not fake. Have bought from them previously without problems. I have some perfumes in my cupboard for many years- the originals don't go bad in a hurry.

sold out at chadstone SC (VIC)

  • +1

This is the usual sale price. It'll be this price during XMas too - at Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist and My Beauty Spot stores.
Protip: Boxing Day sales are extra 10% off Xmas sale prices.

  • +2

Its very unlikely to be fake, its not as if Calvin Klein is a small company without sufficient resources to be checking large nation wide retailers. Not to say it isnt old stock or whatever.

  • On a similar note, the Nike perfumes were on sale for ten bucks. I found the red and brown ones pretty damn good!

  • +2

Had the most bizarre experience selling this I got as an unwanted gift on Ebay, I relisted it 3 times and was sent threatening emails about copy right infringements on the CK logo. Absolutely bizarre that you can't take a picture of a product's logo that you own. But then these fashion companies are jittery with their IP.

  • Any idea how long this runs till?

Price line are doing it for $39

    https://www.priceline.com.au/index.php/fragrances/womens-fra…

seems RRP are different between price line & Chemist warehouse though..

PriceLine: Our promotion Was $69.00 SAVE $30.00 NOW $39.00
Chemist Warehouse: SAVE $59.01 RRP $89.00

  • Thanks. 200 ml should last a bloody long time… unless you're really stinky.

  • I bought Cool Water from Chemist Warehouse and I'm pretty sure it's a fake or it's just super super old. The scent does not last for 1 minute and I'm not even exaggerating.

    • Maybe it's you? Not being smart but once you apply cologne, your nose gets used to the smell and becomes desensitised to it, however others can still smell it.

Picked up Balz Zac by CK @ chemist warehouse for $19.99 and its pretty damn good. Woody tones with a hint of mintyness.
