  • $140USD, not AUD, limited to 220 Black and 250 Blue.

Would jump on these in a heartbeat if I hadn't already picked up the Q701s from massdrop.

    • Thanks I'm at work and rushed it in.

I got excited when I saw that this Drop had been resurrected earlier this morning. But then I did the sums …. USD$120 (base price) + USD$20 (blue model surcharge) + USD$20 (shipping) = USD$160. Do the currency conversions and the price is somewhere around AUD$185.

Even now, the blue version can be had (delivered) for around $190 for local Australian-sourced product.

I'm going to wait and see what comes locally in the next few weeks (or the upcoming US Black Friday sales).

Probably a good deal for the black model though.

    • I got my m50s for $110 on black Friday a couple of years ago.

Do you mind if I ask where you got yours from? I'm thinking of keeping a look out for a pair this year.

        • I can't remember to be honest, I just kept my eye on the Black Friday thread over at head-fi and jumped on them. I got the Sony MDR-V6 for around $35 delivered from memory too, which I prefer btw.

  • Its an ok deal, you save $10 compared to other shops within Australia.

    • Yeah, hoping a decent deal comes up in the next few weeks…

  • if you want the blue model or any other colour… go get it from DJ store. I'm pretty sure they can do it for $185 pick up.

    • They stopped selling retail. That was why they were clearing out stock then I reckon.

      • Why do they have retail stores then in multiple cities? I even got a reply from them inviting me to bring in some music on a phone or mp3 player to have a listen on their demo set.

I am a doofus. I got confused between Store DJ and DJ Warehouse. Store DJ is still in retail while DJ Warehouse is now in the hire business.

  • They also have these headphones which looks like a really good price

  • Just an FYI - my last purchase from them, and I've had a few, took 3 months from when they started shipping to their customers. Normal experience has been 6 to 8 weeks.
