Palace Cinemas Brisbane - $8 Membership, Receive Free Admit 1 + Discounts

70

This deal may have appeared a little more awesome to me personally as I live within walking distance of this cinema, but the place is very nice and comfortable so why not make it your new local?

Membership will cost you $8, and with this you receive one complimentary movie ticket, as well as the discounted member rate of $8 a ticket for you and a guest (down from $11). You will also receive one free ticket in your birthday month when it rolls around. So in reality, membership is completely free, and you are now only paying less than what you would be at Event Cinemas for a much better experience.

From the website:

For an annual fee of $8 (or $14.50 for two years), you can become a member of the Palace Movie Club and receive the following benefits:
An 'Admit 1' complimentary pass upon joining or renewing for one year (or an 'Admit 2' when you join or renew for two years). Complimentary ticket/s will be issued electronically at the box office, upon presentation of your Movie Club card.
$8 tickets for you and a guest every regular session, every day at every Palace Cinema
A birthday gift of an 'Admit 1' complimentary pass* issued electronically at the box office in the month of your birthday (not applicable in Queensland)
Invitations to exclusive Movie Club screenings and events featuring previews of the most eagerly awaited films (for this benefit you must provide us with your email address)
Discounts for special event screenings at Palace Cinemas, including film festivals
Priority access to Q&A screenings and previews introduced by the stars or makers of the film before tickets go on sale to the public.

  • This is pretty good! Even the Optus rewards tickets etc are usually $10 so this seems to check out. Very nice cinemas to boot.

  • Nevermind, if this deal is for just the Brisbane one then best to take out the part about the free birthday ticket as it doesn't apply to queensland

  • +1

Palace Cinemas are really nice compared to your Birch and Reading types. They sell actual meals like Gold Class, and let you enjoy a coffee or whatever in the cinema. Usually very quiet too which is great for someone like me who thinks everyone else is a jerk.

  • They have had the same or similar deal for years but I agree it's pretty good. Used to go here every now and then when I lived in Spring Hill.
