This is pretty much the standard price now, isn't it?
This sale is on just about every week….

  • +1

RACQ magazine also had a code, pretty sure all the old codes still work.pretty good price.

  • +4

It's hardly ever $140-160. It used to be $199 for 4 shirts and now they've got their $39.95 "specials".

  • +4

Ordered 2 shirts previously for that price

    Great quality and fit

They include return paid label if you need to exchange or for refund

    • They don't seem to mention the return paid label anywhere on the site - reckon it will still come with these sale shirts?

      • It may be when you spend over a certain amount you get the return label?

      • They give a printed sticker label in the parcel that sends the return package to an address in Beaconsfield NSW

  • Thanks ordered a few non-iron shirts. Better than the usual deal.

  • +2

Price seems to have gone up 45 cents https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/ctshirts.com.au Looks like this is the standard price as others have mentioned.

thanks OP - bought a shirt

please note that these shirts fit a lot looser than what their name would suggest - i bough an "extra slim fit" last time and to me it fits more like a regular, so if you usually wear a regular fit then i would choose this option

    • +4

      ^same.

I had to return a $300 order because I expected extra slim fit to fit me but unfortunately way too much excess for my liking. 180cm/66kg if anyone was wondering.

Quality is pretty darn good for what you pay for though. Note that non-iron shirts have a slightly different (harsher) fabric than normal shirts and they only last a couple dozen washes before the chemical washes off.

      • Did you buy from them again?

      • +3

You guys must have some weird builds or are going for larger collar sizes. The measurements on the website are accurate last time I checked.

        • Whilst CT shirts are excellent quality, I find that their sizing is pretty off.

I'm 6'0 76kg, but I work out and have a modicum of muscle. I'm a 39/40 in the neck and prefer a slim fit shirt. Their slim fit 40/41 shirts for me have to much material in the waste and arms, but fit perfectly around the chest and back. So I opt for a super slim fit 39(I cannot wear a tie with the 40/41 in any cut because it bunches up the collar to get it tight)but its a little tight in the back restricting my movements. If I do move my arms to much I'm fine.

What they need is a real 40" neck in all fits.

          For $39 I will get a couple.

I recently started buying Boston Brother. Brooksfeild are also a great cut for me.

        • @leftspeaker2000: I'm a dumbass. Thought this deal was for TM Lewin, not CT. The CT size guide is not so helpful.

Would be very difficult to find a shirt with 40cm neck and small waist. They all assume large neck = large waist

      • Does anyone know how this compares to TM Lewin 'Slim Fit' or 'Fitted'?

        • +1

TM Lewin's 'fully fitted' is similar to CT's 'extra slim fit'

        • Having now received the shirts I would say their 'Extra Slim Fit' is pretty similar to the TM Lewin 'Slim Fit' not 'Fully Fitted'.

      • For reference, the XS slim shirts from Conner, YD and Tarocash fit me really snuggly, I also can wear some Size S, depending on the shirt design.
The CT 37 collar size with the standards sleeve length fit a little loose, I have a bit of excess around the waist and around the arms, although not too noticeable.
I just need more Hungry jacks to fatten up.

  • +2

Great quality shirts for the price, have a few myself and have always been asked where I get my shirts from. However as inasero pointed out they do fit pretty loose so the extra slim is a way better fit. And have never seen the extra slims for $40 per shirt, so got a few myself.

The free return label is a definite plus if they don't fit.

    • How is the quality of shirts for you? Is it "couple dozen washes before the chemical washes off". I am just camaring the quality against the Tarocash ones which seems to be very good for me.

      • +3

cant compare tarocash to CT. Big difference.

        • +1

As in CT is better or worse? Not a fan of most Tarocash quality shirts (although they're mostly not dress shirts, more casual).

        • @s3th2000: CT Shirts are the same quality as some of the expensive Hugo Boss shirts. At least in my opinion they are.

        • I generally buy dress shirts when $89-$99 are on special at $19 or $29 at Tarocash.
Does anybody any other quality online sotre for Dress pants/shirts at $39-$49 price range? Thanks

        • Yeah, I only buy from Tarocash/YD and the like is because I like their styling.

Is there any other place that does, say a striped shirt with different cuff/collar colours, or some other dressy pattern with BETTER QUALITY fabric?

        • +4

these are miles better than Tarocash

  • Does the 12% off code RMNN12 work with this deal for new customers?

    • Won't let you stack codes.

  • Anyone want to refer me so we both win? PM me link please?

"Refer a friend, you get $5 credit they get $10 off their first order"

I'm pretty sure this isn't against the forum rules cos it's not the other way round… right?

ok got the referral. thanks guys!

    • ok, it won't work, the referral sends a code. and they dont stack with this order.

      • Yup the $39.95 offer already counts as a code and you can't add any other :(

  • -3

    Who?

  • How do these compare to Jack London, Rhodes & Beckett et. al?

  • +1

I ordered several a few weeks ago. Great quality. Will be purchasing again.

  • i just bought 4 pairs last week… it hurts to see they dropped right after ):

  • anyone want to refer me?

  • All my shirts are from CT and they are great. I love the Egyptian Cotton ones (but they are pretty difficult to iron!)

  • What a damn shame they don't do fatass size ;-) (I'm a 54)

  • How do these shirts compare to Van Heusen? Are they fit for everyday use? I normally prefer a cotton polyester blend as it is easier to iron and lasts for a long time.

    • +7

Van Heusen is about the worst you could buy

      • +2

        Could you elaborate?
I have been using Van Heusen for 7 years without much issues. They iron easily and last. I have had a lot of issues with pure cotton ones though. I don't dispute what you say, but I need a bit more to go on before spending.

Very foolish comment and simply untrue. VH is good quality, design and cut at a good price. In fact they are probably the best 'middle of the road' brand for business shirts you will find available at the major dept stores. I generally wouldn't consider them great value at their RRP, but most business shirts have an inflated RRP and are not sold at this price. Same story with other "middle of the road" local brands like Ganton, Glo Weave, Pelaco etc. Of all these brands I think VH is the standout, Ganton would be the winner based on design but it's rare to find them available below RRP whereas VH is often 30% cheaper for similar quality.

In fact even the supposedly 'mid-upper end' brands in the dept stores like Domingo, CK, Brooksfield, Boston Bros, Calibre, are the same or lower quality materials for a 30-50% markup.

That being said, you need to look at individual shirts as different shirts from the same brand will come from different factories, use different materials and have different cuts. e.g. Some of the Calibre shirts are low quality thin material and expensive, some of the VH shirts are beautiful and well made and cheap price. and vice versa.

  • Thanks OP ! Got a polo just like the one I lost somewhere and I was whining to my wife earlier this morning.

  • +1

Go through Cashrewards for 8% cashback?

  • +2

Have 2 of these and I agree that slim fit is still a little wider than I expected but now I fit them. Really nice shirts 10/10.

  • +3

I ordered this last week also got 20% book depository voucher with shirt purchase

    • -3

Because they know their shirt won't fit you straight away, so you may need to purchase a book to fatten up or lose weight lol

      • +3

        Lol wtf.

  • What is the equivalent to a slim fit in yd, connor etc?

    • Anyone know? eg) slim fit or extra slim in charles tyrwhitt

  • Thanks OP. Bought 3 shirts, 2 pants and 3 pairs of socks for $215 delivered.

  • When does this expire?

  • +1

Im going to try them and taking the advice of OZB regarding sizing (extra slim fit)

I mean look at their waist measurements! Average guy should have like an 85cm waist yet a size 40 collar (average) is 103cm waist! wtf thats massive.

    • +1

I believe the technical term is skinnyfat.

  • +5

I've bought from this company twice before. Both times during their $39.95 shirt sales. The quality is great for the price and definitely alot better than similar priced shirts here in Aus.
im an average asian guy 168cm / 73kg / 100cm chest. i always get the extra slim shirts and they fit fine. 39cm collar is abit tight if i button up the neck but nothing too uncomfortable. although i usually never button it since my tie covers it anyway.
Customer service and returns are easy. I think they have a distribution centre in beaconsfield, NSW as the returns label is addressed there. I've only had to return an item once and there were no issues.

The only cons i have is wish there were more varying styles and colors. Its mostly white, grey and blue and variations of both.
Also i only get the single cuff (button) as im not a big cufflinks guy (which is required for the double cuff). With the single cuff there is no button down along the wrist - elbow area which im used to with other shirts.
    Just minor personal preference points.

Overall, i rate these shirts and would buy more if needed.

  • +1

Best business shirts that I've ever owned, honestly.

  • Thanks OP. Been waiting for TM Lewin to have a good deal on their Fully Fitted shirts for a while now but nothing forthcoming. Bought a few Extra Slim Fit instead!

  • Thanks OP. Got a couple of shirts.

  • Quality wise, I much prefer the John Francomb Non-Iron shirts from TM Lewin. Much better quality, fit and seems to keep the non-iron qualities better for mine. Still, for the price, this is a good deal.

  • Thanks OP. Yes this is a common price but usually when I check many styles in my common size are sold out.

I had a problem with an infinite loop in the check out with Chrome. I had to use IE in the end.

  • Hey guys, anyone gets hit by the foreign exchange fee while ordering in AUD? My bank charged me and I used a Westpac credit card.

    • +1

I used the 28 degrees mastercard, so no overseas transaction fees. I guess you got charged because they are located in the UK.

  • Bought the shirts for the 1st time after reading reviews here. The quality seems ok but does not live up to the hype generate here.. R&B and Boston brothers are much better but obviously bit pricey..I only bought $39.95 Ct shirts..

  • Just ordered one to test for size. Fingers crossed!

  • I got mine a few weeks ago.

Thoughts - I love the quality. I have two Ben Sherman shirts which go for about $90 each and I rate the quality of CT shirts slightly higher.

I'm normally a 42cm, slim fit in Ben Sherman and Australian market (US are bigger) Calvin Klein shirts and I purchased extra slim fit CT shirts but they are still a bigger than the slim fit brands I mentioned but I can live with the difference.

I am looking to buy some more CT shirts but next time I will go for the next size down (40/41cm) as this also reduces the waist measurement of the shirt.

187cm 84kg - moderate build with some muscle, not skinny or overweight.
