I Would get the note 3 personally.
Value and not as big as the note 4.
there isn't a massive difference. quad core, better camera and colours and few others but nothing massive.
Still has laggy touchwiz though. Thats enough to make me steer clear.
with all the high calibre specs it boasts it funny how ppl still talk abt sluggishness with these things.. disappointing really
More to the point is that it NEEDS the high caliber specs to operate TouchWiz without lag.
Compared to other mobile platforms around that runs lag free on much lower specs.
@dbun1: My touchwiz uses VERY little processing power virtually 0% CPU time. The lag comes from poorly configured entropy, caching and interrupts ostensibly to conserve power… easy to fix with 3C Toolbox.
But mind you I've only ever seen lag on Youtube videos.
metal frame design, finger print sensor, the best mobile display, much better use of spen software (e.g. select multiple things with spen (samsung will take ages to update or not even bother adding these features to note 3). I think this is a pretty significant upgrade compared with the note 3.

I don't think the Note 4 had been out for a couple of months. In fact it's barely just been released from what I understand.
apparently there is a fix for the lag, you can install another launcher and it gets rid of the lag, hats what ive read anyway
Yep install Nova launcher from the play store (ah bliss)
lots of people on Whirlpool recommend.
I have another fix. Buy a phone that's not running the garbage touchwiz UI.

I preordered one in Harvey Norman $944 with a bonus of Galaxy Gear fit. However, I have not received my order after 5 days! They say there is shortage of stock, but still they are selling it!

yes they prevent damage from drops on the ground but you can always be careful……..
Yes. That's wishful thinking for me :). I dropped my nexus 5 so many times. I'm really amazed how solid it is. Tempered glass and leather case is must for me.
The best choice, I think, is to buy a pouch case for it. So, it is preserved, while you can enjoy the design when you take it out of the case each time :) I hate the flip case and covers :|
However, I could not find a good pouch case for it :(

The only reason I am not buying this is the Note 5 next year in Aug 2015. It will come with 5.9 inch screen with 4K resolution. The 4K resolution stole it for me but waiting for 9 months is the hard part.

This phone is still showing in stock in DSE site with price 899$ however upon calling the online call centre they said the phone is out of stock and its on back order.typical DSE fail. the phone is out of stock since 9/11 and it hasn't been updated on their site as been out of stock
