PS4 Lego Marvel Super Heroes US $8.09 with US PS Plus Membership, US $13.49 without

80

Could be a good deal for those who picked up US PS Store cards on eBay with the toys code today. If you have a Playstation Plus subscription the game is US$8.09, otherwise without PS Plus it is US$13.49. Either way it's much cheaper that the AU$84.95 (??) asking price on the Australian PSN store. Personally, I picked up a $17.99 PS Plus membership and the game for $8.09 as I anticipate there will be some good deals for PS Plus members on the US store around Christmas and New Year's.

Just to clarify, before anyone asks the usual questions, yes you can buy and use this on an Australian PS4 console. You just need to create a US PSN account on your system, which runs alongside your Australian account. Log in to the US account to download the game, then either play with that account or the Australian one. It should work with either, but they will create separate save game files.

You also need to ensure you have both accounts set as primary otherwise it will be locked to the US account.

Just saying this is on sale on steam for 5 dollars.

I find it unlikely someone in Australia would have a us ps plus membership also.

You don't need both, most people I know just go with the US one because it's cheaper and offers better discounts. Each to our own I guess.

heaps of people have the US accounts. Stuff is generally cheaper on their store.

    • Why wouldn't you have a US account? The content/games are cheaper, the subs are cheaper and the library is larger/better quality. Just buy your codes from Amazon using 28 degrees card and you are set.

    Good find OP.

Bought this from JB for $28 with the recent sale they had.

Still yet to get the PSN membership as I hear black friday is the perfect time to snatch one up for a US account..

    • Black Friday last year a lot of us scored $30 US PS+ subs….I hope for a repeat this year :)

      • Awesome, sounds like it could well be worth the wait then!

        • I wanted to get a ps+ for a while as my Hong Kong ps+ subscription ended early Sept but I have no time to play with ps4 at the moment. The only PS4 game i am playing is watch dog. But yeah GTA5 is coming so black Friday US PS+ is tempting! But then i have to forgo the stuff in my Hong Kong ps plus. I had it for a year and the price was cheap too.

  • I have Hong Kong, US and AUS account

Good price, great game, especially if you like playing co-op with your kids. They really went all-out with including every marvel character you can think of. Being able to turn from bruce banner to Hulk, multiple iron man suits with different abilities, flying around New York… just a lot of fun. Probably the best lego game.

($85 in the aus PSN store!?? How stupid do they think we are…)

  • Hopefully the PS4 version is better than the PS3 version which constantly crashed, side quests wouldn't show up randomly and it was full of glitches (Black Panther side quest I'm looking at you).

  • How do I buy on the US PSN account. I have opened a new account on US PSN, but I have not yet connected my PS4 as I am away from home on work. Can I buy using my PC? when I connect my PS4 after 2 weeks will I be able to download the game which I have purchased on my PC? having opened the US PN account how do I go about buying the game??? Pls can anyone help me?

    • You can definitely buy online. Just go to the link posted here, login with your US account and purchase. That said, the US store won't let you make purchases with an Australian credit card; you'll need to buy a PSN card from Amazon or another seller to add credit to your account if you don't have some already. If you buy from Amazon the code is just emailed to you so it's pretty fast. Once you make the purchase online it will show up in your games library on your PS4. Hope that helps.

      • Thank you for the reply. I have few more questions as I am new to this PS4 world. So I can buy the PSN cards (digital code) giving an us address but paying with Australian credit card (which I have registered with Amazon) is it? Will they send the code to my email address?

        • Yep, that's exactly it.

        • I saw that I can use paypal to add to my wallet I think I'll do that as I have a paypal account already. Also by the time I work out how to go about buying on US PSN store this deal (LEGO Marvel superheroes) is gone. Price is back up to USD 40 now :-). Thank you for your help

        • @tnk1971: Sweet, you can use your paypal to top-up alternative accounts like US without issues?
