It's not the cheapest, but the difference is negligible ($4) while mwave is a very reputable company with great support. To some of us that makes all the difference, so it's still a worthy thing to post.

      Thanks op.

      • Going to be nitpicking here, the cheapest is actually $132… GreenboxIT (at least when i tried to use them last) charges $5 for pickup…

$135 is a great price for a great little SSD, I got mine for $169 last year and it's great. Just got to include shipping should you need it.

Not the cheapest … Picked one up last Friday for $132 from MSY
Agree its a great drive. Just don't think this is a great deal (considering it's not the cheapest price and the cheapest shipping option is $10)

They add a PayPal surcharge which is clearly in breach of the PayPal TOS. That is not the sign of a "very reputable" company.

    • Thanks ofr that, I nearly just blindly purchased. I need to grab a 256gb for a reasonable price. Since it's for my dad and I'm paying - I just want a cheapie.

expensive and below average service, no deal at all.

last month I bought couple from shopping express at $125 shipped, that's a deal.

Isn't this around the regular price anyway?

PC Case Gear have them for $139
    MSY have them for $132

  • +4

ShoppingExpress usually has a better deal.

    combine with amex offer?

    Mwave
Spend $100, get $15 credit one time

    • Genius.

Something to finally use the mwave offer on.. their prices are usually too high.

But I really don't need more SSDs. *looks at 120GB not installed in anything*.
        (Unless they are 750-1000GB)

  • delivery charge?

  • Mwave are hopeless when it comes to Pickup. I've experienced slow service on numerous occasions which results in me calling them to check if the order is ready, even though they have the item in stock…

    • I've never had that issue, in fact, my experience with them are quite pleasant.

Basically placed an order on Wednesday, told to pick it up on Saturday, then my mate an I had some stuff to add to it so we placed another order on Friday. Gave them a call after we placed the order and the guy said we can pick both orders up on Saturday as they processed the last order almost immediately.

Not too sure why they have a showroom there though, not many people linger long enough to make the showroom worth it.

      • They have a sign behind the counter saying it can take approximately 15mins for pickup orders.

        • Maybe it is because i go on a Saturday, no one is ever there lol… by no one, I mean no customers.

        • I always feel that sign behind the counter shows arrogance. Does not make me feel like a valued customer.

Geez harden up a bit. They are being honest. Ever heard of under promise over deliver?

        • Heard of Time = money ?

        • As you state: "experienced slow service on numerous occasions" so given you have wasted your time (& money) on multiple occasions then you obviously do not value either.

        • You win, happy?
