The same model is $1100 elsewhere: http://computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=10620, and the previous deal seemed good for $997 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/14724

Is Sanyo LCD TV good? Always have Panasonic TV. Anyone have any feedback and experience on Sanyo TV? Price is very good compare to other brands.

      Hi Sharpeye..
I used to be in the electronics industry but still then again opinions will still vary from person to person..
To me Sanyo products, and in particular their tv's are very well built and usually are very reliable, longevity is their forte. Not quite on par with Panasonic display performance but it is up there.
You should not be dissapointed and this does look like a good deal.

With the emergence of the superior LED tv's, plasmas and LCD pricing should continue to plummet further especially with the added value of our dollar at the moment.

      Hey Sharpeye,
I've got a 42" full HD Sanyo (unsure of model number, and its wall mounted so I can't check).
I've had it for 6 months at the moment, and haven't had any troubles with it. It's displayed everything I've thrown at it (XBox360, PS3, PS2, Media Centre, etc), at 576, 720 and 1080i & p.
The TV tuner works well, even with the bad signal here.
I'm assuming that this model is the same vintage of Sanyo LCD TV, so it should to pretty good!
