Quite a frequent appearance
Anyone have noticeably longer boot times after installing bit defender?
We use BitDefender at work quite a bit. It's memory footprint is a little bigger than some AV programs, so it won't run well if you don't have a sensible amount of RAM, but if you do then it's impact on performance is minimal. It's performance at catching stuff has been pretty good.
Any suggestions for a free, low memory footprint AV program. I have bitdefender on my tablet and it works fine, but I'd be happy to hear a suggestion for a program that has a lower memory footprint so I can get the most out of a tablet with only 2GB of memory.
Hmm, shame this doesn't stack onto the other licences… seems to act as a standalone 6 month install
It is a shame but I just switched from a 3 year license (had 30 days left) and if these keep getting posted like they seem to be doing recently, we can just keep renewing for an unlimited 6 month period.
Sam thoughts as me as I have 6 days left on my 3 year licence so this will tide me over nicely.

Was just looking for an all in one antivirus and firewall! Bitdefender seems to get a good wrap in AV roundups and independent testing, so may as well give this a whirl. Cheers.
