This is a fast drive, really fast

    • Faster than the others?

      • +1

Yes. Sequential read, sequential write are outstanding.

And the 4K write speeds are way way better than ANY other flash drive out there; that means this is way faster than other flash drives for running applications or an OS from it.

I have the 64GB and 128GB versions of this. Best flash drives I've ever owned.

i can confirm its fast, 170Mb/s write fast

It is one of those drives that sometimes retract annoyingly when you plug it in though.. But other than that, very good drive

  • …Bought a 32gb on CentreCom only 30minutes ago due to lack of 64gb deals-.-

  • I am not a big fan of retractable USB drive, BUT this flash drive absolutely blown me away. I'm getting over 150mb/second constantly. Hopefully the retractable will hold up for many years

  • This is a bit too long. Is there a heat sink inside?

To those who have retracting problems. It's how you hold it when inserting that's the problem.

The mechanism to lock it in place means that if you put pressure on the switch, it'll retract.

The solution is to hold it by it's sides when inserting the drive.

  • When l have had problems with retractable USB drives l have found using super glue works to hold the drive open.

  • Got one a month ago - a bit more than this price though. Great drive, very fast and doesn't have the issue with the retraction if you hold it in the right way.

Excellent USB Drive - so very very fast. Probably worth mentioning though there are issues making these bootable due to the way they present themselves to the computer. Can't remember specifics but there are a lot of unhappy people on forums regarding this. Not an issue for general use, but frustrating if you plan to install Windows from it.

Postage for each additional drive appears to be 6c USD so you may want to combine with mates to save on shipping.

    • It's called the Extreme Pro USB 3.0 128GB.
