  • Too good to be true?

    • Just uploaded a photo from the catalogue and linked in OP.

    • Well did get the Lavazza by Electrolux ELM5000BK model (no steam wand etc) for $6 in last HN deal. With 12 capsules, it was cheaper to buy a machine than than the coffee capsules.

  • Looks good and inlcudes the milk frother?

    • +1

Unsure about this. The catalogue pic doesn't show the frother. But the website shows it, and descriptions in both colour options seem to say it is included.

      • On the website there's ELM5250A (without) or ELM5250S (with frother). On the catalog applicable only for ELM5250,,, which is???

        • Will try to order online and pick up in store to see then.

Great machine - great price. I bought one 6 months ago - coffee IMO far superior to Nespresso/Expressi/Dolce Gusto. Online reviews suggest the same. Proper steam wand really makes a difference to finished product compared to Aerocinos et al. OK it's not a cafe coffee, but for a $75 machine it's pretty bloody awesome.

Only problem is the official capsules - get Deciso and don't waste your time with any other flavour - don't always pierce, probably 1 in every 3 fail to pierce both sides, effectively wasting the capsule. And no it's not the user, well documented problem with these. However, I buy these capsules - prefer Cremoso flavour - and they are very good (family taste tests suggests they taste better than original capsules anyway) and they pierce everytime without fail.

    • terra is the best flavour by far..

  • In store or online as well?

    • Available online too according to catalogue starting tomorrow.

      • Thanks op, will try to get one tomorrow.

  • Solid deal. I'll definitely try to snatch one tomorrow.

    • Good luck with it considering the deal starts on Wednesday :-)

      • Haha its already Tuesday for me. Bloody FC4 still not unlocked, I'm going to bed

      • 1:20pm Wed 19th… still $249

  • Nice deal

  • Awesome coffee, best pods by far.

I agree with PBG about the Deciso pods, they are the best of the bunch in our house too.

This machine is a good size to chuck in a caravan too , smaller size that the upright model :)

  • It's says $199?? Shouldn't be $124?

    • See the op's edit link at the top of page to a photo of the item, it shows 50% off of $249, then $50 cash back "starting 19th November 2014".

  • Does not seem to be in stock in any of the Perth Myers.

    • Forget that. Website is not showing correct stock levels. Got one at Morley.

  • 2 left in myer hobart… thanks for the great deal. if you received a myer one voucher booklet in the mail, you will get another $15 off for spending over $100 (in-store only).

  • Bought one in myer canberra centre for $124 and it comes with frother

Just a note. I think the the silver one is not on sale. Only the black one

    • Yes. Only the black one is on sale.

      • Thanks guys I've updated OP.

  • Just picked up the last black one from Myer @ Carindale, QLD.
    Only display stock left now.

  • Why not having it delivered? It's free delivery when purchase over 100?

  • Does this machine work with the capsule that came with the $59 office works deal a while ago ?

  • Has anyone got a reply about their claims?
I bought two coffee machines (as presents) and one claim was approved while the other one was rejected???

    • That's interesting. Looking at the terms and conditions, they do say this:

Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim permitted per
Participating Product purchased; and (b) each claim must be submitted separately
and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

But I'm a bit surprised they actually enforced it. I wonder how they police this - purely based on name of claimant? Or address? The T&Cs don't mention anything about multiple claims from a single household.

      • I emailed them and explained the two separate claims. Eventually they replied that they approved the second claim as well.
