    is it by courier or auspost ?

    if its courier and your not at home to accept does the item go back to the store and you have to pay another delivery fee ?

  • Thanks for your question, Sometime product is delivered by ourself or delivered by courier company, it's depends on which area.

    Courier company may try 2-3 time to deliver, if no one pick up the item, it will be sent back to 9289 which means customer will pay for the 2nd time delivery. You can request the parcel stay in courier company local depot, but I randomly tell customer as this is hard for courier company to arrange and keep the item safe.

    If you would like to check your delivery items, simply call or email to our customer service (02 8090 7700, [email protected]) with your invoice number. They will reply you ASAP.

    If not, Feel free to let me know, I will make a note to them.

  • Yeh if you are living in Sydney we can deliver to your home on a Saturday. But has limit area.

    • no not in sydney. Can I ask for my item to be sent by Auspost, reason being if no one home to sign for item they leave it at my local post office for collection on a Saturday.

  • I am very unhappy - I ordered the product when it WAS in stock (Blue MSI Wnd + monitor), paid for it straight away via Direct Deposit, then now I get an email just today saying that they have no stock in at all, yet they have my money and can only refund me! I ordered this fair and square and to get messed around like this is ridiculous!!!!

      I placed it pretty much as soon as this deal was posted, I got an email today saying my payment has been confirmed and moving on to next stage which I guess is delivery.

    • I'm very sorry to hear about this. I will Make a note to our manager. As i know we sold out the MSI wind book in just 30 minute. And the bad things is due to our system limitation. We have over sell the item about three unit. But All the customer are very happy with our process so far. I don't know you are the one or not. But once again. we are very sorry about you can't get the netbook. There still something we have to improve. And we are still trying our best to improve ourself, to deliver the better service to our customer. Wish you can understand.

  • Yes - same as me! Ordered exactly the same timeframe as you! What SHOULD hapen is as follows:
    Customer orders.
    Stock is ALLOCATED to customer
    Customer pays (in the case of direct deposit as it takes a couple of days to clear, if not credit card at tiem of order).

    But no, money cleared all right, however I get this: [NEW ORDER] Order Confirmation No: message saying:

    Thanks for placing the order of promotion with 9289.

    However, this item is shortage at this moment without ETA.

    We will do the refund to you fully if you provide the bank details:

    bank name
    account name
    BSB
    account number

    Hope to hear from you soon and we apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Oh and by the way, I firstly got an Order Confirmation on the Thursday and then received a payment confirmation email on Friday, so good luck with getting it!

  • Have just got off the phone from them and they faulted their own stock system saying that 'it's not the best'.

    Not only this, but someone purchased 'all' of the netbooks just before I did and I've missed out.

    Apparently I should 'ring them for updated stock info'.

    It apparently 'doesn't matter what way to pay' ie. Credit card or direct deposit doesn't matter.

    Still TOTALLY unhappy and plan to contact Scotty or someone about this, as it sounds like another COTD thing.

    It's not all about not getting the items, it's also about NOT having the money for over the weekend and few days as it could have been used for something else or even gained a small of interest!

    • yeh like $10 interest. Ull get over it. It was a bargain and just because u thought u made it in time, doesnt mean u did. U cant blame them for delays in websites updating themselves. The whole significance of bargains is that they are limited in stock and time. Have to expect these things every now and then. Im pretty sure u wont have this kind of problem with non liquidated stock

    for all the hassle most people go through it is not worth it to me, would rather find real bargains that the world dont jump on at once

  • You guys actually have anything in stock? Everything that isn't a ton above retail is "Sorry, the product was not found.". You could at least list the product still just with a "sold out" button. Even better, a simple form which I can enter my email in and get mailed when it's back in stock (and if you're unable to read between the lines, enter email = get an easy database which you can mail say weekly with specials…)

      • There's a difference between a broken website and having a working which one just has a few sold out labels - the same way there's a difference between spam and something you've signed up for (but knowing how well you comprehend things, I know that's probably something you won't understand).

        • Oh no, Captain Comprehension, there's a big difference between a single purpose form used for email reply stock update on a specific product; and suggesting surreptitiously using data gleaned from it for the purpose of an unsolicited mass mailout, what you're advocating is SPAM champ, pure and simple!             I better keep this REALLY simple for you (anyone with "Balls" in his name is obviously immature, insecure, or still a lil' kid), given anything obvious you just can't figure out; I wasn't on 9289 looking at last weeks sales, because, again obviously, a good sale like this still wouldn't be going that longer after it started. I was browsing to see what they had around that could be a good buy when they're October 1 sale started and got met with a bunch of product not found pages every time I tried to view an item. Of course, you had to jump in like always to try and be a hero (yet again, just can't help yourself), I only can imagine due to boredom waiting for Thursday morning to rock on so you can get your fortnightly cheque, or your life is so sad the best thing that happened all day in the story of Stewballs is posting a bunch of stupid messages online.

    • The reason why product was not found it because we have just sold out and our Product Manager haven't got the chance to update the information.

      So that's why you can not find the product on our website. We are very sorry about this happen. Our man power is limited. We will trying to improve as well.
