You probably thinking the cheaper compact version (720p). this is the 1080p 5.2" version. it's about $800 at the sony centre.

Yep, I ordered a kogan mobile Sim back when they still offered mobile plans and the eta said 5 weeks. I couldn't believe it at first but it actually did take 5 whole weeks.
Also just wondering would I be able to claim the GST if I plan a trip overseas with this Kogan receipt?

To clarify smiles, kogan never paid GST and therefore there can be no GST refund from the TRS.
Have had the Z1 for a year now. Other than the crappy camera software, especially in low light, overall pretty good. Main plus for me is the ease by which you can wash it directly with a soapy sponge then rinse off to clear off all those greasy fingerprints.
The Dragontrail glass makes it VERY sturdy as well. My Z1 has been swiped off from dinner table 2x and from chair height 1x and landed on hard tiled floor without any damage(thin matte soft plastic cover only)
Definitely a must have for the outdoorsy types and for those germophobics ;)
I generally agree with what you've said, but mine broke for no apparent reason in my pocket. Withing two minutes of putting my phone in my pocket, I pulled it out to find it broken. That said it was a damn good phone while it lasted
Did sony repair this phone ? I heard mixed stories about this issue.
Friend of mine has one of these, battery life is pretty crazy, lasts 3 days on average.

Z2 at $459 delivered at Kogan is also a good deal I think, specs are almost identical to Z3.
I bought it on the day of its release for $649 from a Sony centre. Is this really the cheapest available?
