  • Nothing of interest to me either because I already have the game, it's still not within my price range or it's simply not something I'm interested in. Might mention Don't Starve to a friend so we can play together when the multiplayer update comes out.

Just a general comment about the deal description: make sure to use the actual game title name otherwise you'll end up guessing them wrong and confuse people. For example, it's Goat Simulator, not Goat MMO Simulator. Also, Watch_Dogs is 50% off, not 55%.

    • It actually is Goat MMO Simulator thats on speical @$4.99 though..

      • Same game. You could say Goat Simulator has been given a free expansion, the MMO.

      • Not quite.

Actually Eon-Rider is correct. The game is Goat Simulator. The 'Goat MMO Simulator' expansion is built into (i.e. part of) the game.

  • I think it is worth pointing out that Civilisation 5 complete pack is $20.00. It ends in 2 days, so I am going to see whether it reaches lower price. It's an old game, but it's relatively decent price considering it has been on $80 recently. On steam, of course. If you can use VPN, there probably were cheaper options recently.

$12.49 Civ 5 complete on Amazon, always check your prices vs them as they're usually as good or better. Fake US address is all you need, no VPN.

    • Have been eyeing Beyond Earth to go below $20. But how good is it? Too similar to V?

      • +8

I've played 200+ hours of Civ V complete, and have played 80 minutes of Beyond Earth.

I'm now continuing to play Civ V.

      • You could always watch a Let's Play on youtube.

This war of mine is currently on sale (10%), I know that it's only small discount, but it's just launched last week and the review pretty good for strategy game…

    • +1

This War of Mine is a pretty awesome game, I love it even at full price.

    • +1

I'd happily recommend supporting this developer at full price for "this war of mine" in the hope they will produce more great different games off the back of its success.

  • Interested in Watch dog… anyone know if there is an SLi Profile for it?

    -EDIT-

    Sweet seems like there is.

    • There's a better deal for Watch Dogs here. It's a physical copy though.

      • +1

Yeah I saw that deal before, but i just have two issues with it.

        1) It activates on Uplay only and I prefer to use Steam for all my games. (I know it still requires Uplay but the content will be linked to my steam til i deactivate the account)

        2) Not too sure how fast the delivery will be… With Steam I can download it overnight and play it next day.

I'm still struggling though, I mean is all that worth $15 difference…

  • +1

Do they ever have sales on Contruct 2 ?

  • +3

Big whinge thread on The Evil Within for dumping its price so close to release. Over-priced to start with, underwhelming performance and game overall. Waiting for $3.50 bin

  • Can anyone comment on Battleblock theatre? It wasn't released that long ago.

    • +1

I haven't played it but it's recommended by PC Gamer and Rock Paper Shotgun, and a mate of mine. That's enough to push me over the edge for $1.49 USD.

I guess some people might be turned off by The Behemoth's brand of silly humour, but I'm fine with it. If you played Alien Hominid or Castle Crashers you'd have an idea of what I mean.

      • 90% off is almost as good as it gets so I pulled the trigger on it. Was looking for a new co-op game to play with mates anyway, thanks for the reply!

    • +1

I love it. Good for co-op and honestly laughed so much at the expressions on the faces etc when being attacked… and all those accidental deaths.

    • I personally don't care for it much. I played through the campaign a third of the way then got a little bored from how repetitive it was. The most I do with that game now is launch it once every week to get a special head (essentially a skin) and every second week to play the featured levels (Furbotton Feature) which rewards you with an additional special head. You can usually sell these for over 20c on the Steam Market if you can be bothered so you could eventually make your money back by doing this.

  • found any buggy $0.01 offers yet?

  • lol… Goat Simulator is back on discount… hilarious…

  • +3

Goat sim - great game, worth the price. If licking an helicopter as it flies isn't as real as it gets, I don't know what is.

    • +4

      Lick all the things!

    • -4

      dat grammar

  • Goat Simulator time!

  • I'm waiting for Monaco to drop to 90% again.

FTL - Simple looking game, but has a lot more going for it than it seems on the surface. The only criticism I have of it is the luck element. You need to get lucky in a few sectors to beat it. I don't believe you can cruise through to the end sector getting "average" jumps the whole way.

    Totally worth $3 though!

    • +1

Absolutely great game, FTL. Tons of ships to try out - each playthrough will be significantly different and very engaging. They also released the 'advanced edition' a few months ago, adding a hardmode, new ships, occurrences and lots of other new content - all as part of the game, rather than making people buy DLC (which is the way new content should be released).

      Highly recommended.

      • I loved FTL except the end boss fights that were so stunningly difficult it ruined everything for me. You had to do everything perfectly up until then to have the slightest hope of beating them, which I wasn't remotely capable of doing so I gave up trying.

    • Yes, good game on PC, but the problem is that it is an absolutely brilliant game on tablet, I highly recomend getting it on Android or iOS instead…Curled up in your recliner, or sitting on the toilet asphyxiating aliens by venting airlocks is pure bliss.
Though most of the time, with a lot of experience under your belt you can kit out your ship with a winning combo of weapons and gear, I am convinced that some campaigns are literally unwinable though. Just have to accept it and move on….still fun.

  • COH2, Counterstrike, FTL, Don't Starve, Dead Island, The Stanley Parable, The Wolf Among Us, and Injustice.

All great games. Not sure about Lords of the Fallen yet. I'm about 2 hours in and it's not a bad game but it has issues and apparently it's not great later in the game.

    • The wolf among us is recommended for people who has kids and been recently listening to nursery rhymes :P

i find that playing that game is almost therapeutic to me (after having to listen to those songs in endless loop ).

  • FYI, Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is one of the games offered on PS4 in next months PS+ so you probably don't want to buy it twice.

  • +1

I highly recommend "The Wolf Amongst Us", same creators and style as The Walking Dead game, decisions massively affect the story line, edge of seat stuff and brilliant story.

  • Checkout some of the corresponding game deals on Amazon's Black Friday deal, cheaper prices in some cases.
Frustrating that U.S customers can get a Steam key for a game for cheaper, for example Hitman Absolution on Amazon for $5 U.S (Steam key), our special Steam price in Australia for same digital copy is….$10 U.S. Same for many of our Origin deals. Gotta love that. Yeah can set up a US address in Amazon, but not sure why we have to here in Aust for digital distrubution.
    Grab your pitch forks, Revolution!!!!!

  • Bought Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z for US$10.19 on steam. cheapest it has been.

  • South Park: The Stick of Truth
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/213670/?snr=1_7_7_topselle…

is this one on steam censored or uncensored version?

Low Violence: Low Violence Version = censored??

    sorry i m not too familiar with steam/pc games….

    • Australian version of the game is censored. You can uncensor it with a patch however if you wanted, here

  • Need for Speed Shift is marked at $17.50 but the "EA Racing Pack" including NFS Shift, Shift2, Undercover, Hot Pursuit and Burnout Paradise is also $17.50.
