    Quite unimpressed with these headphones. The sharp edges sometimes find a way to annoy me and the sound is tinny.

          @mushtato: Actually, I am about to eat humble pie now. I picked up mine again (in fact, they are the chocolate v2 edition). They did sound terrible to me. I changed the ear plugs to size L and all of a sudden they came alive for me (and fit better!). I know it sounds a bit silly to not have tried this earlier. They seemed to fit "OK" before, but much better now. Really very good in fact.

          My apologies for suggesting anything otherwise. As pennance and part of my campaign of self-abuse, I will also buy a pair of these because the seller seems very genuine. Sorry if I steered away anyone, these are very good and better than some higher end UE headsets I used previously.

      I got the chocolate v2 pistons and they are great. The sound isolation is very good and with the volume on minimum I can barely hear someone talking to me. I didn't notice any sharp edges and I think I could sleep with them in. I wouldn't call them tinny either.

    The Xiaomi Piston2.1 headphones I received are some of the best headphones I've used over the years. I'm generally in the < $50 range when it comes to headphones so this wouldn't be surprising, but the build quality and performance is really impressive.

    It works flawlessly with my Windows Phone 8 handset in terms of controls/volume. Service and delivery from Mushtato was very impressive too.

    Highly recommended! I got some Panasonic RP-TCM15 headphones which were highly praised by The Verge (http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/11/6135957/best-headphones-un…) and the Xiaomi's are much better in my opinion. The Panasonic's aren't bad and are certainly very comfortable, but the Xiamoi's have set a benchmark for me.

    ok, bit the bullet. I convinced myself that I cannot really bring my UE6000's in to work. I normally find in-ears very uncomfortable (can barely get them in my ears), but hopefully these will be okay. The frequency response chart for these looks more favourable than Meelectronics M-duo, and they are cheaper too (and look stronger).
