Some good deals but not sure the TV is worth it. Same size, and arguably quality, from BigW is $399.

    • it is all sht… and before you point out the itunes card… add the $5 shipping…

  • +2

At least they have given the Eneloops a rest - it was getting ridiculous.

    • Oh no, I need my weekly supply of eneloops!

      • +15

You do know they're rechargeable right? :p

    • You can get Eneloop batteries at 9am.

  • Click and Collect?

  • "$20 iTunes Gift Card ($10) - 200 Units"

Will be Ozbargained in 20 seconds!

    • +1

I hope this has a one per customer limit.

      • Free shipping? I assumed $5.95 shipping if its "strictly" online only. if that's the case, would easily be woeful deal.

        • Yes, listing shows mandatory $5. 95 shipping (no click and collect option) which kills the deal. Why not make them free iTunes cards and charge $15.95 postage?

        • @phantom: And people will get caught the moment when they are about to check out. Probably OP want to put a note that postage isn't included? Could be a good buy if buying more than 1 though.

    • Dick Smith also have 20% off iTunes cards until the 8th. Obviously not as good as 50% off, but useful if you miss out or want to save on shipping and grab one with an earlier/later promo.

    • Not when you add $5.95 for shipping. Pointless.

  • Might want to remove the Hp Computer it's $559 is you buy it now from dse ebay. Also JJ You get a Free speaker if you buy the Muteki http://www.sony.com.au/product/gtk-x1bt

    • I'll add a note for HP computer to the post.

      I think you're looking at a different model for Sony Muteki (GTKX1BT) - it's GTKN1BT.

      • Yeah your correct about the speaker :)

        • You're. Not your :)

        • @edfoo: Close enough lol

@TRENT86: Grammar is important:…let's eat grandma…let's eat, grandma
          (stolen from roadkill)

        • -1

          @hoverboardrider: Not on here :)

        • +2

          @hoverboardrider: that's punctuation, not grammar

        • @TRENT86: Not good enough. You may turn a bargain into a rip-off deal with wrong grammar :P

        • +2

@edfoo: Lol honestly I don't give a crap :) Bring on the Negs

        • +2

          @TRENT86:
i dont neg for bad speeling bad grammer or bad puntuation. Just those that feel the need to correct it! After all, this is OzBargain… not OzLiteracy!

  • Drat, just bought a bunch of HDMI cables to keep on hand.. ah well.

    • Please note that the DS cheap cables are only 'Standard', which as per hdmi org labeling is not FHD compliant
      http://www.hdmi.org/consumer/buying_guide.aspx
"Built for most home applications, the Standard HDMI Cable can reliably transmit 1080i or 720p video."

  • +1

There are lots of 2m HDMI cables on ebay that are cheaper than DS and are also V1.4 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2M-HDMI-Cable-v1-4-3D-High-Speed-…

  • NERF Terradrone is US$48 + $20 shipping @ Amazon.com this week, which is not as good as the deal here after you convert US$ into AU$.

    • Considering how slow, noisy, and limited the toy is, it's probably not worth this either.

  • +1

The wording on the ad makes it seem like each customer is limited to 2000 batteries…

  • +3

Limit 200 units on the iTune cards. I'm not even going to bother.

(Or at least that's what I'll make you all think and discourage the competition, bwaahahahah).

    • +1

The $6 shipping might deter enough people for you to pick one up, although, as mentioned in the description, not really worth it unless you combine it with something else.

      • +1

It's more than enough to deter me, even if it was $10 delivered.

I got 5 in the last dick smith deal.

I think like most people I get caught up in the ozbargain hype and buying stuff I don't need because of discounts lol. I gave 3 of them to my brother and kept 2 for myself and they're still just sitting on my desk.

I rarely even spend money on iTunes, just kairosoft games, and sometimes other discounted apps which I rarely even boot up at least once.

I was just having a bit of a joke. :)

        • Haha. Yeah I've got ~$35 itunes credit. As an Ozbargainer I wait until an game/app is heavily discounted so I only spend $3 or so each time I buy something haha. I accumulate credit faster than I spend it.

  • NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I just bought a pair of Sennheiser RS 170 from DSE an hour ago for $199. Given they are normally $300+ I thought it was a good deal. If it is less than that tomorrow I guess I will see if I can cancel and re-order.

It is a bit hard to + or - without knowing prices…

    • SENNHEISER Wireless Headphones RS170 ($224.50) - More expensive than yesterday?

As usual with DSE, you need to scrutinise the deal before buying.

  • +1

Could we just get a price match at Officeworks for the iTune cards?

    • I was thinking that but they would most probably try get out of it by trying to ring them to check for stock.

It might work if we had an actual link to the picture which is on this deal to the dicksmith website. Does anyone have that link

      • Rang Officeworks to price match and they are out of stock.

For the last 2 years every time I wanted to buy iTunes cards they have stock. Today dicksmiths has a sale and they don't have any stock and won't do rain checks or anything. Looks like officeworks did there best to get away with this one

  • +2

    $6 delivery for $0.49 batteries?

  • That delivery price for itunes cards… seriously?

  • +4

Their 2m HDMI cable was $7.98 last night and now it's $26.98. I wonder what it will be at 11am?

    • +1

This is BS. I checked in at 11:00, HDMI cable was $26.98. From what I can see it hasn't changed price within that hour. And yes it was $7.98 last night when this deal was posted.

I think the same for the indoor amplified antenna, believe that was $29 now $59 though to be fair I might not have checked this one close enough to 11:00am.

  • +2

I'm only seeing the batteries for 11am

  • +1

Looks like this hour of power of is a bit of a bait and switch promotion.

  • +4

I need some batteries as well. but not available to pick up, not bargain at all.

  • Site appears unresponsive. Is anybody able to add batteries to their cart?

    • +1

I couldn't add the batteries to cart from the listing page but it's working from the product details page.

  • +2

Umm who's going to spend $5.95 on delivery for 50 cents worth of batteries? No click and collect…

    • I did bulk buy.

    • The batteries sell $5.95 in store.

      • fair enough I'll buy 11 packs then (the max)

        • Managed to get 11 packs of AAA and 3 packs of AA for $5.95 delivery. So total of $12.81 for 14 packs of batteries.

    • Yeah. I was excited until found out there is a $6 delivery charge. Need to buy at least 6 packs to make it worthwhile for me. And I don't need that many.

    • I bought 22 packs for $20 ..that's a lot of batteries ..lol.
Anyone in BNE CBD wanna half with me?

      • -1

I'm interested. pls check your pm. cheers.

  • -1

This is the second time I tried to buy the HDMI cable cheap and no stock at any store near me.

Such a common product and no stock so I have to neg.

    • -1

that doesn't mean deal is good, it means ur late.

  • +2

What's the point in paying $5.95 shipping for the $10 (cost) iTunes card?

    No click and collect

    • Agreed. Pointless.

    • Still saves $4. and you can bundle with a few other things

  • Got some batteries, itunes, and sd cards. All pretty cheap.

  • +1

    itunes card - $5.95… booo!

  • Does anyone know the expiry date on the batteries?

  • +1

Just got Officeworks to price match the $10 DSE iTunes gift cards. I neglected to tell the Officeworks employee that it was a 1 hour deal only and that it was a maximum of one. Just showed them the product page on my phone.

Got some great cheap stocking stuffers for Christmas.

  • Just bought 11 sets of both AA and AAA batteries, plus the $10 iTunes voucher. Not bad for $30 delivered.

Hopefully the batteries don't expire tomorrow.

  • I'm really interested in the Fuji Instax Mini 8 Camera (I understand it is costly with the refills and so on but it's for nostalgic behind the scene type stuff with projects I do) Anyone have any hands on experience with these specific ones, any tips or handy hints? Would be much appreciated!~

    • +1

Not much to report. You point and shoot. No zoom or real options. Takes AA batteries which can be a pain. My only advice is buy film in bulk off ebay… Much cheaper.

  • 5.95 delivery for iTunes gift card, makes it $15.95 for the $20 gift card…. very average savings.

  • Anyone know if the 10000mAh power bank is any good? Or should i just get an ebay one?

  • Are there any cashbacks for Dick Smith any more?

  • Canon EOS 1200D DSLR - Black ($319).. not for me …the price on DSE page is $429

  • I price matched the gift card at Officeworks, no problems.
