60c cheaper 6 months ago? Throw this deal in the trash

      • +4

Let's throw something else in the trash!

      • +1

I threw it to the grouuuuund

  • I personally use the Rebar at work. Leatherman tools are well made.

    • +1

The Wingman not so well made. It is at the cheap end of their range for a reason.

      • Ah okay, thanks for the info. Can't say I tested the Wingman.

  • +5

I would add $5.- and go for the sidekick

    • depends which tools you value more, the Wingman & Sidekick are very similar:

Wingman-Combo blade with scissors & a package opener.

Sidekick-Regular blade with saw blade & small serated blade.

For me the Wingman has much more functionality, but it's a personal thing, dependant on use. Both great cheapies.

Was looking at the Skeletool CX today, unfortunately one of the only ones that doesn't ship to Australia :'(

  • I've been following the "leatherman wave" prices on 3camels for some time now.
The Wave is an expensive buy, but Amazon process are still a lot less than Australia retailers.
Was hoping for nice big price dip on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
    Didn't happen:(
There's always the boxing day sales…

    • I got a few Gerber in the Bear Grylls range around 6 months ago. Cheap as no one cares about Bear Grylls any more, good product.

  • I'll wait for a good price on the Wave or Charge TTi, but this does look like a good price for the Wingman

  • Leatherman Wingman = AUD $33.03 delivered. Cheaper than eBay but still not "great" deal. Was tempted but might hold out for something better.

    • $49 at Masters
      $79 at BCF

  • These were out of stock for a short while but seem to be back in stock now.
