Good deal for a decent multi-tool. Price is what I got after currency conversion. $24.88 USD ex-shipping. I think cheapest elsewhere is around $50 on eBay?

Wingman is also quite cheap AUD 33.17 shipped to Aust.
I prefer the wingman because I get more use from a pair of scissor from the Wingman than a saw from a sidekick.

    • One thing to note, the Wingman doesn't come with the nylon sheath. If it's the same as the Wave sheath, that's worth about US$6.

I'm assuming this is what you get.

Yep also has a package opener. Wingman has more indoor uses IMO. Sidekick has very good wood saw and second blade which is serrated. Leatherman Sidekick vs. Wingman comparison video.

    Damn the exchange rate…

  • Are these made in USA

  • Both sold out! (at that price)

    • nope

      • Looks like it's back in stock. It was definitely out of stock just now as I tried buying both.

  • genuine question, isnt this considered as concealed weapon and you may get fine and may go to jail?

    • Depends. An overly simplified version of the explanation:

If I am out hiking with it. I will be fine. If I go to pubs or clubs with it. I will be in trouble and fined.

      • what if I am a technician that require multitool? that good enough explanation to get away with it?

        • Would depend on the policeman and the situation

        • It does depend on the situation.

          Again, overly simplified:

"Is there a good reason to be carrying this at this time and place?"

If you can show that you are on your way to work, it will be more reasonable to believe that it is for work purpose.
Incidentally, it also makes a big difference to the interpretation of the situation if the "concealed weapon" is on your body or in a bag/toolkit

  • The Skeletool is also down to ~AUD$49 similar to last year which I bought three of.

Nice and lightweight, with the important tools and looks cool. Light/small enough to put my house key on and carry with me everywhere.

  • Damn the wingman has gone back up :/

  • My Sidekick arrived today.
    Great quality, price and delivery.
    Thanks to the OP.
