  • Probably closer to $12.05 - still a good deal.

I bought a pair for working outside in the garden etc, the cord on regular earphones always gets in the way.

    • -3

yes, yes it does, its always the cords fault. Maybe if you would put the cord trough your t-shirt, and the player in the back pocket, maybe, just maybe then the poor cord will not be guilty for once.

      • Let's hang the guilty cord.

      • I don't like cords touching my body…. I suppose some people are into that sort of thing

  • got some…lets see how they go!
I also got them for garden/pool/ride-on mower work

  • Very tempting as I love wireless headphone. Unfortunately, I don't like earbuds as they hurt my ears and the sounds tend to be not as "full" as I like.

  • Description mention HIFI sound, can someone who has used this advice on sound quality.

  • +1

I received Bluedio N2 from gearbest yesterday. Sound quality is quite disappointing.
On the plus side, these earphones are true stereo. Previously I bought a sports bluetooth headset from tinydeal, which was advertised as stereo, but turned out to be mono.

    • How would you compare them in sound quality to say the standard headphones you would get with an iPhone, of Galaxy etc?

      • +3

Standard iPhone headphones sound better. I'm not an audiophile and can't describe what's wrong with the Bluedio, but I can hear the difference.
They are not terribly bad and I am planning to use them for running (I listen mostly to podcasts anyway). But if you need headphones for music, I would not recommend these.

        • Thanks. I'm thinking of getting these as a Kris Kringle gift for someone who is planning to get fit

        • @bluedez_man: Don't talk about Santa like that…..

@Forfiet: He needs to make sure that he's around for my kids to know him….all the cookies and milk are a sure way to a heart attack

        • @bluedez_man: True that is…… and also his bad obsession with the Ho's :P

          @Forfiet: he thinks he's a rapper

I was going to get some to listen to stuff (tv shows playing from the hard drive) playing on a laptop in the garden while I did weeding etc; but the spec "Operation distance: Up to 10m (free space)" was a deal killer for me. "Up to" is dubious/ could mean it's effectively 5m, and "free space" could mean it's severely reduced if there's anything in the way…
I've FINALLY learned that a really cheap price for something that almost does what I want is not a bargain! LOL
Good bargain for most though, who no doubt would want to use them for their phone, less than a metre away…

    • +1

10m is pretty standard for BT

  • I think this one has more positive reviews and it is double the price on Amazon or ebay. It seems a very good bargain.

    • I wouldn't trust reviews on gearbest, I think many of them are fake, they look like written by the same staff member.
If you compare reviews on gearbest and banggood, you will see what I mean.
Banggood removes negative reviews, but at least positive reviews are added by real customers.

      • Such a dodgy practice. I stopped shopping at Banggood when I worked that out.You have to rely on the reviews for half the product description but anything constructive is removed.

        • +1

It is extremely short-sighted of the company to invite/show reviews, but filter out the bad ones; they would be way better off NOT HAVING reviews at all. Imagine if you submitted a negative review (i.e. to warn others, AND the company itself), only to discover it was filtered out! Not only would you definitely never shop there again, you would actively discourage others from doing so… it would be a real insult, actually. What a naive practice for the company to engage in!

        • @GnarlyKnuckles: Hmmm I think I relate.

    • I ordered a pair of these earlier today instead of the originally posted Bluedio set. Will be interested to see if they're any good.

  • if the 5 hour battery life is accurate, then it's better than my plantronics bbgo :p

  • i bought the bludio q5

    google it
    Its more expensive but better

The s series and N series use that really chunky remote (its much bigger than the pictures let on (like the size of a pinky)

THe Q5 are built into the earbuds

    • Yes, the remote is quite big on N2.. I took them for a run, but the remote dangles about and the right earphone keeps falling out of the ear.

Have you already received your Q5? Can you comment on the sound quality and how secure they hold in the ear?

      • Yeah, I would like to know this too.
I just requested for a cancellation of my N1 order, and within 5 minutes received a confirmation response. Good stuff, right there.

Now looking at getting the Q5, or anything else there.

      • not yet

just ordered it after doing a ton of research for something wireless i can use in bed to use my tablet with its gooseneck stand

didnt intend to use it for running but just might do so now since its quite good

  • Beware when purchasing from this mob. You will be lucky to recieve you're item/s. They are polite and respond, but dont back up their promises. Read the negative comments on - http://www.resellerratings.com/store/gearbest

  • Mine eventually arrived today (just over five weeks).

The sound is average at best - but for $12 I wasn't expecting excellent sound.

Main issue for me is the complete lack of track skip functionality - you can pause/play and change volume, but not skip tracks!
