  • I have an older model, the shaver is pretty good. But the cleaning system is kind of annoying - at least for the way I use it.

I don't like the idea of charging the shaver it after every use, so I tend to clean the shaver with the little brush each day, and then use the charger stand/cleaner only when it needs recharging. But this means that the liquid in the tray tends to evaporate in-between cleans. And that stuff isn't cheap.

I've taken to putting some glad-wrap over the tray to prevent it evaporating - just have to remember to remove it when I charge the shaver!

    • THat's just bizarre! Anyway why don't you put it into the charging station but switch it off from the mains?

      • The cleaning solution would still evaporate, especially in summer.

I think they expect you to use the cleaner and charger every day - but that just seems weird to me. A full charge lasts about two weeks normally.

  • Ive got one these 3d ones without the cleaner stand and it works great. I rinse it occasionally and goes fine. Only charge it when it's flat and thats a long time between charges.

If you want a real bargain, get the little AA battery powered one for $15! It does an amazing at 90% less cost. Almost as good as the $150 jobbie. http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-PQ208-40-Electric/dp/B… I keep one in my car for when I'm driving to work and realise I forgot to shave. Maybe get them both!
