Well, a 10 minute walk is pretty good. All our deliveries in QLD do come in biodegradible bags though if that helps you.
@iSamurai just don't walk home with the trolleys. I don't think that's what coles have in mind for DIY home delivery service ;)
Be aware that most products are more expensive then if you walk into the store.
However if you calculate it delivery would probably be pretty cheap.

Yes, the catalog specials are online except for multi-buys, and they do have online exclusive specials every week.
The Coles rep' wasn't going to broadcast it, but this is to compete with Woolies who have just launched (yesterday) online shopping in Brisbane with,, you guessed it, FREE DELIVERY (conditions apply: 6hr delivery window = $0 / 2hr window = $5) until 31st October…
We ordered (from Woolworths) y'day and the groceries arrived 9:30 this morning. All good.
Oh and BTW, the Woolies dudes carry the groceries into the house to wherever you want, rather than leave them at the front door…
We'd also used the Coles online shopping in the past (2008) when they had free delivery on offer.
The prices ARE higher online, but if you pick the eyes out of the specials and use these free delivery deals it's a good thing.
