LG G3 D855 16GB 4G $454 + $16 Shipping ($470 Shipped) from No Worries

50

Found the 16GB LG G3 for $454 pp. Appears to be cheaper than most other grey importers.

32GB doesn't seem like as good of a deal at $514 pp

$16 Flat rate shipping isn't too bad.

Never bought from NW though. Just put an order through. I'll let you know how it goes!

Cheers,

Edit: Expired it now as it is showing up as $474 pp now.

Are they really No Worries? Never deal with them before.

    • Can anyone comment on No Worries?

        the name makes me worry

        • no worries.
          It's their motto

        • @IsTops:

I bought a note 2 from them last time, shipped within the week. Standard grey import from Hong Kong.

Their invoice were also from an Australian Pty Ltd from memory and price protection wasn't an issue.

Note: GST was only charged on the delivery not the phone.

I reckon the 32GB version with an extra 1gb of ram and double the storage space is stiil worth the difference

What is the difference between Aus stock and grey imports on these phones?

    • Local warranty and in some cases the different radio bands used may not be used in Australia

      • Aus stock and grey imports both appear to be the model D855 - which support the 700mhz band. Anything I am missing in regards to differences?

  • 32gb version is currently $515 shipped from DWI and potentially cheaper elsewhere. $45 for an extra 16gb internal storage… I'd say that's the better deal.

Not when 64GB sdcards are around $35…

      • +5

3gb RAM on the 32gb version, 16gb just has 2gb RAM

      • Only if you have root otherwise you can't install apps to SD natively in KK.

      • Not the same thing. Slower and since ICS apps can only be installed on internal storage.

You dont really notice any speed difference bn internal memory and microsd, atleat not with a 30mb/s card. The bandwidth is good enough for video and music.

I infact like the microsd as i can pop it out and use a usb to microsd adapter to transfer much faster than over the usb cable.

So your comment re faster…depends on how you look at it.

And rooting + external card permission is so easy to set. Negligible. I support 16Gb + microsd.

    • where is cheaper than DWI?

      • +1

I spent several hours looking for the 33GB model today, absolute cheapest I could find was eGlobalDigitalCameras for $511 shipped (including a discount of $13 from their current promotion).

        • thanks for sharing the info, otherwise i would pay $515 to DWI.

        • @alwayseric: I know there's not much in it, it was just the best I could find after hours of searching.

        • 32gb.

i actually paid around $475 for mine and it has dual sim capability.
but ofcourse its grey. But so worth it.

        • @IsTops: 3gb?

        • Where can I find a 33gb phone :P

        • @TALLBALLER:
Like DWI, Kogan no Aust stock have to be grey import.

      • DWI is still cheapest: $515 - $5(coupon) - 2% (cashrewards) is just under 500. It was $509 on Friday before our dollar crashed even more…

        • Plus shipping makes is slightly more.

Really though the difference is negligible so order from which ever.

        • it charges 2% for using paypal?

Bought my S4 from these guys a few months ago. Ordered Wednesday afternoon, posted notification on Friday night, arrived Monday morning.
A day after I ordered, I had some regret for choosing the white S4 over the black one. Talked to a rep through their live chat system and was able to change my order in less than 5 minutes.
A week after I got the phone, I received a free gift from these guys.

    Would purchase from them again.

    • Do they charge GST ? Reason I asked is because I want get refund from TRS.

      • +1

If its grey import (which im pretty certain it is) then no they do not charge GST and therefore u wont be able to claim TRS

      • They do not.

  • is the extra gig of ram worth it? Is 2gb really not enough for this phone? I don't know how much my S3 has but it is real slow now.

    • extra 1 gm will make huge difference after 1 year.

  • Its more common for .com.au sites to not include GST and effectively be run from another country these days.

  • If people are wanting the 32gb version go to uniquemobiles, its $500-510 right now and theres free shipping.

    • +1

The free shipping only applies to stock located in Australia, the G3 is shipped from overseas so shipping charges still apply.

  • 32Gb/3Gb Ram $486 including shipping @ Topbuy but Voda 4G not supported

    http://www.topbuy.com.au/lg-g3-32gb-white-d855-unlocked-4g-l…

is this the same for all models?

    • Wow, topbuy seems to trump NW's prices!

Anyone got any experience with them? Shame I've already ordered from NW!

      • They do have a bad reputation in WP, just read a few post there….so buyer beware

Let us know your experience with NW

    • Vodafone 4G runs on 1800MHz & 850MHz band. It should be fine.

  • Seems to be back up to $474 now…

    Will update the post.

Also FYI, ordered on Monday and still waiting for the order to be updated. Told by online chat bot that they've dispatched on Wednesday but are still waiting for the tracking number…?

    Ergh.. Still hopeful.. Fingers crossed!
