    1080p Supported:
GM50 projector can play 1080p videos directly through USB storage devices. You can store Full-HD movies in your U key, and play it with friends.

    Misleading!

It has the capability to DECODE 1080p videos, but only outputs at 480 x 320 resolution.

    • Agreed, don't be fooled.
You'll have an unpleasant time reading any subtitles at that resolution.

      • Have you checked the video ? We are trying to provide the best for the price. Maybe is not suitable for a bright big room. But it could be convenient to draw the curtains and playing games. Uh…What is your opinion ?

        • Don't need to, I've owned mini projectors in this price range and lower, and have access to commercial grade ones too. The cheapies work as intended for my purposes but inadequate for what it is marketed to be able to do (videos, presentations and mirroring).

EDIT: On the topic of best price, how would you say your promoted product compares with this?
          640 x 480 @ 150 lumens for 73USD.

          OR
          480 x 320 @ 60 lumens for 69USD.
          http://www.gearbest.com/projector/pp_56634.html

Mind you I have no affiliation to Gearbest and I wouldn't trust the specs from either sites.

Wow, I knew it would be a piece of junk, but 480x320 is the lowest resolution I've ever seen!
Be alright if you wanted to play some NES I guess, the pixellation would be hidden by the blockiness.

80 lumens brightness is probably going to be good for a 1m diagonal screen in a totally black room.

      • There is a video for this, dear friend .Could you pls check it for the price ? >>here

Well, yes. TRONFY TP-50 Native Resolution 320x480. (Clear Picture in Dark Environment)
Also,it supports 1080P movie. It is Suitable for Home Cinema Theater,Holidays, festival,Halloween, xmas, Christmas, Garden night Party,Outdoor Camping, and Children education,Specially designed for game playing.

  • Hmmm.. wonder how well this operates as I am thinking of buying this for presentations I do for 80-100 people

    • +3

At 80 lumens, would lack any grunt… so throw distance an issue and also would need to be a very dark room

      • Just did some further research and the display on this is VERY poor. The price may be good but I don't think it will be feasible for anything really.

      • Well, yes. In a bright and big room ,it may not be that clear. It is much suitable for enjoying yourself alone by watch movie, ball game, playing games /video game ball game. Sport , World Cup , maximal exercise.

    • Hahaha, good joke…

Not what this is targeted for… More of a portable player about the quality of an old CRT… But needs to be used in a virtually pitch black room would be awesome for camping and the likes I rekon!

      • +4

Better to watch the stars, they'd be brighter at least.

        • LoL,Star movie .

      • For camping(get√+1) is good :)

does it come in the back of a white van?

EDIT: I am calling BS on the SAA approval as nothing with that brand or model appears in the register - provide the number and I'll revoke the neg vote

    • Here you are >>SAA :)

      • that is for a power supply, not the projector

        and TÜV is not SAA

EDIT: and that certificate isn't registered with TÜV - details and address don't match

    "Today I received a projector from tinydeal.com"
    But its a tinydeal review!

Man sounds like they even sockpupet in their reviews!

That said, people need to realise what this is for, its not a data projector or a replacement for a home cinema, its a portable projector you can use with a portable power pack…you wouldn't use it during the day… Would be cool for outdoor cinema during summer I rekon.

    • Not at that resolution… 480x320
640x480 is a minimum for a PJ in my opinion and even then you're making a WHOLE lot of compromise.
Even with a small screen diagonal 480x320 is going to pixellated.
You'd be better off just watching stuff on a tablet or laptop. They're more portable than a PJ and have better resolution.
