    Unrelated to Sheridan brand. Its high time government made origin (manufacturer and country) be displayed in advertisements. [Australian brands and products are diluted to insignificance yet the only ones that are productive and provide skills.] Not that Pacific Brands didn't sell out on Sheridan too.

    all products sold in Australia have minimum 12 months warranty - that's the law, filtering out utter crap. It's "red tape" that Liberals haven't addressed yet.

        ACCC - Consumer guarantees:
        Products must be of acceptable quality, that is:
        - safe, lasting, with no faults
        - look acceptable
        - do all the things someone would normally expect them to do.

        So, which (non-consumable) products warrantied for less than 12 months would be considered safe, lasting and performing as expected?

          You said ALL products sold in this country have a minimum 12 months warranty. Where is the link or info that refers to the minimum 12 months warranty for ALL products?

          And since you mentioned it's the "law", please link directly to the legislation.

          It might have set a precedent for mobile phones, but it never set a minimum 12 month warranty on every type of product sold in Australia.
