its $199 at Bunnings. being an ozbargainer refrained from impulse buy and searched the net to see what its selling elsewhere for

Masters have the same one

They are asking $269 but with their price match policy should be $179.10

  • This vs 4Ah Ryobi?

    • They are different brands.

And the Ryobi is more of a home handyman toy. Plus for $199 you only get one drill, not the impact driver.

However if you want to have torches, personal massagers, and all manner of other useless add-ons then the Ryobi is a better choice.

4aH battery is heavy, better getting 2 or 3 smaller ones (they charge fast).

      • I have this pack (and a few other Bosch 18v things) - the battery life in these is great - I get ages out of the drills

Just becareful with Masters price beat policy. They will only match the price for appliances. I am not sure if drills included as appliances or not.

    • Has this changed recently ?
I have previously got them to price match a Bosch circular saw that they did no worries, guess I might head in tomorrow and see if they have any issues.

    • huh? i take it you mean, they won't pricematch appliances only. ??

Drills are not appliances. Drills are tools. Fridges, washing machines, cooktops, etc, are appliances.

    • I read the policy and I read it as:

They will price beat anything instore, EXCEPT appliances, which they will price match

Dropped into Masters this morning, had the Bunnings web page on my phone, 10% price beat no questions asked.

Masters only price match now they don't price beat anymore

  • In their terms and conditions, price match appliances and price beat home improvement products.

    HI guys,
I was able to get it price beaten at Masters ( Sunshine 3020)
They did make it hard tho saying the model number on the bottom of the box wasnt the same as the ad in Bunnings.

I showed them that both drill model numbers were the same etc. They gave in and I paid $179 or so

  • Also the quality seems very decent. I was mainly interested in the impact driver. Has a bit of weight to it and feels sturdy.

  • blah was going to get this today. Looks like they price matched it BOOO :(
