$10 Credit for Video Ezy Express Kiosks

630
KN849846

Video Ezy reckon they haven't seen me for a while so sent me a $10 rental credit.
Coupon is generic, so thought you could all benefit.
I had hoped to post yesterday for cheap Tuesday, but had to get confirmation it was allowed.
Should still be good for 2 or 3 free movies though!

Its limited to one use per account/card, but it has worked with 4 different credit/debit cards of mine so far….

Note: My machine limits each transaction to 3 discs only, but YMMV.

Good deal. Its just a pity you are unable to view the available titles in any of the Video Ezy kiosk on the web site.

    I remember video ezy

    • +2

They still have their movie guarantee?

    • +2

Am surprised they are still in business lol

  • Any BluRays in those kiosks?

    • +1

Yep, and I've seen some 3D titles before too.

    • +1

Yes there are. But usually limited to the popular ones

  • Stupid question but how do I use this code? Do I need to register on their website or go to a kiosk and enter it somewhere? Sorry I have never used video ezy before.

    • Go to kiosk, add movies to cart.
At cart, click button for entering promo codes and do thusly.
Discount will immediately show, then swipe credit/debit visa or mastercard.

Done - due back by 9pm following night.

    • Go to kiosk, select up to 3 movies (max 3 per card)
At payment screen put code in, then enter your details and credit details
      And your done.
Hey are all overnight rentals and if you don't bring it back the next day they will just charge $2 per night per rental until $30 cap I think

      • where are the kiosks?

        • Check online for your nearest one.

will they fine you for not rewinding?

    • +1

      they did to me… :(

  • So it expires tomorrow?

    • Yep.

  • prepaid visa card = cheap movies?

    • if they have half a brain they will check you have sufficient balance to cover the cost or refuse debit cards.

  • Don't want to open an illegal discussion topic, but I will turn it a different way: I am really surprised to see so many people in Australia using automatic DVD dispenser, or even DVD Kiosks etc etc.
In Europe, those type of stores / business have closed probably 5-7 years ago easy due to Internet.
How come this is not the same in this country?
Not everyone has access to internet due to the high cost? (Paying $60/month internet only vs. $45/mth with TV, Internet and unlimited phone calls in Europe)
    Thanks !

I think it's the speed of the internet here. Most legitimate online services are for streaming and my internet connection, and I presume a lot of others, is not fast enough to be able to stream decent quality video for TV. If I want to source movies from online my best option is downloading them but there are not a lot of services that offer this legally.

    • Poor internet connections in Australia would be my guess.

And bluray quality (which hoyts kiosks carry) is not available online in pay per view or foxtel etc.

    • A double layer dvd holds 8.7GB max, a dual layer blu ray holds 50GB data max. You need lots of data download (data download as well as speed) to get an equivalent download quality, especially when watching movies with a lot of complex detail, effects, 3D, THX, DTS etc. Cheaper to rent a movie or buy to get a more enjoyable experience if not viewing many movies per month. Just my opinion…

  • what year is it?

LOL! You forgot we are in Australia…Netflix and the like haven't reached our shores yet (not to mention the appalling state of our countries internet to begin with. So these are popping up all over the place, they must be making money off em.

      • I thought oovie went bankrupt?

  • -2

Do these work for hoyts oovie machines?

    • +4

Doesn't look like it, considering it's a Video Ezy coupon.

  • Streams won't be besting BluRay discs for many years to come.
Internet speeds have hit a stand still and internet connection prices have stopped decreasing.

  • Thanks OP, I used the code to get 3 movies.

    WELCOME14

The code is for $5 value at VideoEzy Express Kiosks… I think its generic code… I used it today, wheter its single use and the expiry date I don't know.

    • Thanks metro, can confirm it worked

    • Worked for me too, thanks a lot!

Might be worth to list it as a separate bargain since this one is expired?

      • You're right.
        I will soon.

  • I went back to the e-mail, the code WELCOME14 expires in a week… so it's good until Thursday 25/12/14
