    Nubzy, can you provide more details? Did the $99 tablet have same specs? What, exactly, was nasty? I am considering buying this tablet for very basic internet use while overseas…..

      $99 tablet had a standard definition screen that looked awful, it was slow and unresponsive and the battery life was terrible. I would recommend get something quality from a reputable brand. Nexus 7 or Acer Iconia both good places to start.

  I wouldn't trust aldi tech. Worst camera I ever bought. Bicycle fell apart, etc.

    Granted, the quality of Aldi tech can be very variable because they often comes from different OEMs, but I'd just take advantage of the 60 day return policy. If you're not happy with it, just hang on to your receipt and you can return it for a refund.
