  • I got this in an email from Groupon:

Just pick any single deal of $40 or more by December 18, enter promo code SUMMERSALE at checkout and we'll give you $10 off - easy as that.

Code is valid on desktop website and mobile app only. Valid on one purchase per customer. The minimum spend referes to a single voucher amount, not the basket amount.

Whats that Thomas deal in the image?

  • +3

A lot of restaurant deals I'm interested in are priced at $39… so I have to upgrade to the 4-people or even 6-people options. "Spending $40 or more" is really a trick.

    Don't forget 7% cash back ;)

What's the story with the Woolies voucher? Ended? Or just not available today?

Just for info, offer valid for one day only.

  • Is it just me or is every single restaurant deal removed?

  • THE 7% CASHBACK AT http://www.cashrewards.com.au ?

is it must visit the store thru the link in cashrewards?

    • Yes.

  • Deal ends December 18th. i.e. TODAY ONLY

Buy a $50 Groupon Gift Card for $40, 'refer a friend' for an extra $10 credit + 7% cashback.

    • can you send a link to the gift voucher

    • From Cashrewards Website:

Cashback may not be payable if you pay by gift card or if you purchase a gift card.

If you use a coupon code that is not listed on this site, rewards may not be payable.

  • Does the cAshback work on mobile devices? Cause last time doing cash rewards on living social for 20% off $13 bucks and movie ticket didn't give me any monies in my account.

Every time I see a groupon deal submitted to this site, I am going to remind people to be careful dealing with this company. In the unlikely event they do sell you a voucher code that doesn't work, don't expect their after sale support to rectify the issue for you, and instead expect them to tell you anything they can to get rid of you. This mob will keep saying they need to investigate the issue and won't refund you. They even go to the lengths of lying to you by saying don't worry about the expiry date, they'll extend it or give refund after the investigation. As soon as it does pass the expiry date they'll inform you that it must have slipped your mind, even though they are supposedly investigating it… Paypal won't help you neither, even though I submitted a claim before the expiry, supposedly paypal won't refund vouchers.

And you can read my post here on a previous deal, and please note the date as it was before the expiry of the voucher.

As far as I concerned this scamming company deserves all the negative publicity I can muster. I gave them over a $1000 last month and they decide to try and rip me off for $80.

Ive heard many stories like this. For what its worth, Ive had two incidents of being unable to use my voucher (restaurant close down, and restaurant changing terms). In both cases I was refunded my money from Groupon.

      • 3 people who have bothered to post had the same issues for the exact same deal. This is the only time I've ever dealt with their after sales support, and as far as I concerned if they sell a voucher that can't be redeemed there shouldn't be any issues ever getting a refund.

Agree. My refunds were quite a while ago now. I only purchase at places that I feel I can trust, but any negative experience such as yours would probably put me off groupon for life

I had a problem with my voucher as well. Thankfully a switched on Woolworths person I spoke to in the call centre said he would chase it up with Groupon so I did not have to continually chase my tail going back to Groupon.

He returned my call and said the issue was due to the fact that whilst I was in NSW and though I got a NSW voucher my area was close to the QLD border and I was in fact a QLD customer and this is why my voucher wasn't applying properly.

He said not to worry and he was going to issue me with a coupon for $100, an hour later I had the coupon on my email. The bonus was that the coupon now expired at the end of November 2015 not 2014 as what the original coupon was issued.

  • How can I use the $50 Groupon voucher that I bought? I got the voucher in my account but can't find anywhere to Redeem the card when checking out??

    • I thought it was a physical card that they took 4 weeks to send you? Why I didn't buy…

      • There is 'redeem code' field just under item description. Can you enter gift card voucher there? If you can use the gift card immediately I'd be interested in purchasing.

  • That link is just for tracking the order not to actually redeem it.

    • I think you may have to wait for the card.

  • doesnt work
