Persona 4 Golden for Vita

Hi guys,

So because I've JUST picked up the Vita from the recent JB Hifi deal, I'm now looking into getting Persona 4 Golden (which I heard is the best game on the Vita evarrr). I've searched through the old deals on Ozbargain for P4G and it WAS at a pretty decent price a while back ($27 - $29) but now everything's expired :(

So my question is, where can I get P4G for a reasonable price? I've looked at:

  • JB Hifi (not on their website)
  • EB Games (also not on their website)
  • Ozgameshop ($32.99, not incl. shipping)
  • Beat the bomb (not on website)
  • PSN Store ($54.95)
  • Can't find on Target/Kmart/HN either
  • Ebay (floating anywhere between $37 - $69)

Anywhere else I've overlooked? Any other recommendations for anything cheaper would be appreciated!

  • I think it's out of stock in AUS… I had to resort to getting a a used copy. I know the last i checked EB didn't have any copies left

  • Isn't it like $20USD on the US PSN store? I guess you could set up an account and get it from there, but I may be mistaken.

And yeah, it's still easily the most enjoyable game I have played on the Vita so far.

    • i think it's $29.99 on the US PSN Store, which works out to be about the same price as Ozgameshop after conversion….

    • One thing to note is that you can not change back to the AU PSN for your vita… well at least not easily.

Also, to run two PSN accounts requires two separate memory cards. If you use AU PSN primarily, then buying from US PSN is not recommended.

      • Oh darn, makes me less tempted to get it from the US PSN store. Sigh… I obviously didn't do any research like which psn store was better, which i really should have. Everyone on forums are saying the US PSN store is way better then the AU one… Oh well too late now.

  • I found this on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Persona-4-Golden-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B…

and it seems to ship to AU… BUT I do need to buy a total $35 worth of stuff to qualify for free shipping tho. Was thinking of throwing in this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HD4R5RW/ref=ox_sc_act_ti… to get my $35 total… Good deal?

Yeah I'd go for it, FFX & FFX-2 are great and have huge playtimes if you're a completionist.

    such a good game

  • I would just switch to the US psn store for your vita unless if you've already purchased a heap of digital games.

The price is not even close, when pretty much all vita games I've wanted have gone on sale under $20 on it (under $10 a lot of the time) So much more convenient being digital on vita. I own about 30 digital games and 3 physical.

I'm also fairly sure there is a sale on persona atm for $20

Also Persona 4 isn't the best game on vita, it is the best game on ANYTHING EVER! :P

    • I've bought two games on the AU psn store so far, so yeah not much, but i only have an 8gb memory card on me.

Also, ProjectZero above just mentioned about the difficulties of switching between PSN stores and needing two memory cards…. Seems like a lot of trouble :|

      • Yeh you'd want to choose 1 and stick with it for vita, just saying if you plan on digital then US is definitely the best option (y)

  • What's wrong with Ozgameshop? If you're keen to play it, and everywhere else is out of stock, it might be your best bet.It doesn't look like you'll get it substantially cheaper anyway unless there's another PSN sale.

    • Oh no, I've nothing against Ozgameshop. I'm just looking for a better bargain to see if there's anywhere else that's cheaper. If there isn't, i'll go for Ozgameshop.

  • I saw P4G for $18 at eb games last week

    • Really?? I've been to 3 ebgames and none seem to stock it :(

      • I was just there and now it's gone =(

  • Amazon is still a good deal. AU$68 for P4G and FFX/X2 delivered.

    • Is that .com or .UK? The .com version of FFX has a US code for the second game that won't work on an AU account.

      • I was looking at .com. Forgot that FF X2 was download.

FYI, it is on sale on PSN store at the moment, $55 > $25. That's as cheap as you will get it unless you luck out second hand.

This should have been on the PSN store the day OP made the post, but sometimes they don't update very well.
