Nice. Good to buy DLC's with since Origin DLCs usually never get a discount (e.g Mass Effect series).

Before buying a game it pays to check if Amazon is cheaper. It usually is cheaper by a fair margin.

And don't buy BF4 battlepacks, it's a blatant money grab and the vast majority of the time you will just get EXP boosts. Say no to microtransactions!

    Also buy Mexican using Hola.

    • Never been able to get Mexico origin to display in peso (cheaper than when its listed in USD)

      • It could still charge in USD just less. I cant remember now.

Crap deal. Only offered after they reverted most of their games to normal price. i.e. a few days ago SimCity Complete was selling for $24.99 on Origin. Now it's back to $49.95. Even with 20% off, that's still $39.95 - way more than the previous price.

  • Far Cry 4 is $28AUD after code on Indian Origin.

    EDIT:

Code does not work for Far Cry 4, or FIFA 15. Boooooooo!!

  • Cant buy as gifts otherwise I could have finished my Christmas shopping :(

I will never buy from origin. had a problem with some of the games i got from them. When contacted the support (not online that is a horrible experience after waiting over 40min i got 30 seconds with a support person before connection was dropped) they politely told me to have a look on forums to find a resolve to my problem.
If it works may be good if not buy again from other place and will work.

    • What kind of problem was it?

      • I got Command and Conquer package from them I do have some of the game like Red Alert and Yuri's revenge on disk. I thought to have them all and on electronic version. Yuri's Revenge works fine from cd but the Origin one will freeze after 5-10 min in the game and will not be playable. I try Red Alert 2 and at the beginning of the game all my base will explode and come back on main menu. Wen contacted the support only solution given was to search on forum for help cos is a old game. My pc is 8 core + 6G rams 1G of dedicated video card and plays fine games that are new.

Did you ask for a refund? Steam would, don't know about Origin.

        • @sween64: I deed not, i think I payed 9,99 for package. maybe the rest of the games may work but I deed not have time to try them all.

  • Sweet, got the Sim City Expansion pack for $15.99.

    • It was $9.99 the other day!! Read my above post. The games were much cheaper a few days ago. Then they reverted all the prices back to full price before the sale. i.e. SimCity complete was $24.99 last week. Now it's back to $49.95 (or $39.95 after the 20% off). No deal.

Yeah, it's definitely a big dodgy on EA's part, much like all those eBay sellers increasing their prices when that big discount was on a few months ago.

        • Note: prices on SimCity are back to the old discounted prices. $13.33 for base game, $9.99 for expansion, and $24.99 for Deluxe (which is odd because it's more than the combined game+xpac price).
