Origin Mexico - SimCity 2013 US $7.33 | DA:I Deluxe - US $29.99 | The Sims 4 Deluxe - US $22.49

110

Came across this last night, posted it on ChoiceCheapies in NZ and thought I'd share it with the Aussies.

Dragon Age Inquisitions Digital Deluxe.
The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe..

Appears to be some sort of Boxing Day sale, much better pricing than on the AU/NZ/US site.

Use the free Hola browser extension to access the page using a Mexican VPN.

Also a bunch of other games on sale.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2014

  • Cheers Bro.

on a side note, had no idea there was a nz version of this site :P

    • All good mate.

Yea, we've had it up and running for a few months now, there was a forum post about it at the time.

      • ah, there you go.

I had gone to the original site and was like , what the?! lol

Also had no idea about the hola extension - I like that its also suitable for a range of browsers too.

        • Yea, the layout is identical, same backend, it's growing nicely too, trying to get the word out, so if you know any Kiwis', let them know!

Hola is quite often mentioned for overseas deals on OZB and CC, it's really handy to have for stuff like this, even for US TV/Movies sites, it works alright.

  • Have they fixed the issues with simcity from when it first came out?

Also whats the multiplayer like? Thanks OP!

    • They have fixed most (if not all) of the launch issues, based on user reviews that I have read.

Can't comment on MP, as I don't own the game.

      No problem.

  • Yep, grabbed DA:I and sims 4 off there with hola+paypal, very happy with the prices. :P

  • Sim City 4 Deluxe - US $22.49

I dunno about the rest of you, but that seems a really high price for such an old game :-P ;-)

    • I'm still trying to find where it says that… Lol.

      • It said it in the title, it was finally fixed up though :-)

        • +1

Sweet, I got a PM from Hamza confessing that he was the guilty one! He has since been sent to the gallows :D

  • Newbie question

Once I purchased the game via hola do I need to use hola everytime I play it?

Do I also need to setup a Mexican origin account? I already got a local (presumably) Aussie account

    Thanks

    • No and no :)

The only instance of having to use a VPN I found was when DA:I was released in a staggered pattern, so to play it I had to use a USA VPN to run the game for a few days until it was officially released in NZ.

      • Thanks mate :)

Trying to work out how to use hola now

        • If you are using Chrome, click the Chrome icon on their website, install the extension, and then browse to the URL above, click the little flame dude top right, choose Mexico, away you go.

  • Thanks mate its working

    • Sweet, enjoy!
