I have a WH303 and have been severely disappointed in it. The headphones just don't have any guts regardless of being used as a mp3 player or wired into another player. I didn't pay for mine and am glad I didn't.

Hopefully this model is a bit better. Very good price compared to RRP

  • Good price. If the headphones stay on, they might be good for gym/running

    • Nope will be way too heavy for exercising with.

    • I actually suggest NWZ W series. The ones that looks like a bluetooth earphones but in fact they are just waterproof MP3 players. Some of the newer generations can be used in swimming pool, and the newest generation actually has bluetooth function.

I got mine around this price from DSE and I use it for running (sometimes in the rain).

      • the earphones? i tried them on a few years ago - super uncomfortable. im not used to putting things inside my orifices like that

        • Have you tried different sized tips? I know for a fact that there are people who cannot use earphones because it is super uncomfortable for them, but changing the tip might help.

Also, BOSE SIE2 is a waterproof earphone and they don't go into your ears much, they might be good for you.

        • @AznMitch: yea, they were just super hard tips. I have some very soft sony tips, that are fine, but I think it might have something to do with the waterproofing

        • @tomkun01: I don't think it should matter since the way that the MWZ-W series does waterproofing is just by having a filter inside the tip to stop water going in. Perhaps that makes pressure inside your ears high? I don't know :P

BTW OO lists RRP as $300 LOL

  • $89.95 after $10 off site wide?

  • Anyone know what they mean with Wireless MP3 player?

    • +2

MP3 player is built in. Wireless is a little bit misleading. Definitely no wifi or bluetooth.

505 is much better as it has larger drivers. I have these and am very happy with them
