  • Can't seem to see the survey on my account

  • Got it, thank you!

  • worked for me - thanks!

  • Didn't I recently read about Crazy Domains breaching the codes of practice? I remember it's owned by Dreamscape who are based in Dubai ….. I better do some news searching now my interest has been piqued :)

  • Crazy Domains used to be my server provider but frequent downtime and non existent service saw me take all my business to Digital Pacific and I haven't looked back. Could not recommend Crazy Domains to anyone.

  • Worked for me as well…Thanks

  • Worked, thanks

  • $5 doesn't make up for the hosting downtime, domains in limbo and horrible customer support.

  • Breach of Registrar Agreement by Crazy Domains.

Don't think that's the actual news article I read, but it's close.

Do jobs classify as bargains now? This post should be deleted IMO.

    • "Jobs" is a bit of a stretch, figs. Are you suggesting that all websites are part of someone's "job"?

      • -1

No. I'm pointing out that completing a survey requires work hence the "job" reference. There are many cash for survey sites/offers out there, should I start posting them as "deals" also?

  • Thanks, found survey under free gift.

  • dont use these clowns as you will regret it.Do a search on the whirlpool.net.au forum for crazydomains. These morons dont call themselves crazy for nothing.I would give them a 1 out of 10 (one for some effort). Some of the crazy's staff/friends did some fake reviews on the whirlpool forum. They were deleted of course.

    EDIT
But why is a person from no1supplements.com.au doing a job for The Crazys?

  • Anyone know how to use the credit? I'm renewing my domain and can't seem to find any way to apply the credit. Nor can I find anything saying what the credit can be used for…

    • I had this problem and had 2 domains to renew. It does not tell you how to apply the credit and I'm not happy with their response:

The option My Credit will appear as one of your payment option if your total order is equal or less than your current credit. If your total order is more than the amount, you will need to add the difference to the current credit before doing the Check Out. To add a credit, please refer to the step below:

In your Account Manager, click on Invoices & Reports
      Click on Add Credit
Specify the amount or the difference between your total order and current credit
      Provide your credit card information
      Click on Add Credit
Go back to your Shopping Cart and click on Check Out
Select My Credit for the payment type
      Click on Complete Order

      • Cheers. Not really worth it for $5… I can't see that option now. I guess I have to add the credit as you say. Kinda risky I guess… And so their "add credit" page doesn't seem to work properly. The PayPal option doesn't work and the page doesn't load. Not really worth it to use the $5 ($9.50/year with the credit). I might just transfer out and pay a bit more elsewhere. $15/year is hardly going to break me.

I hadn't realised how dodgy these guys were. I only use them as a domain registrar though (not even hosting) and for that they've been fine for some 6 years+ now.

        • To report: It did work as you said and I renewed for 2 years for $18.92 + 3% since for the credit card since I couldn't get the PayPal to work. Only a 50 odd cents. Couldn't be bothered stuffing around anymore.

I'll probably transfer out sometime in the future before the next renewal though… Perhaps even do it now since the domain is now paid up but that's not exactly fair on the new registrar is it…

        • @Shonky: Glad it worked for you but shouldn't have to prat around like that hey?
