  • tried this for a little more than 10 weeks and what I lost was a sense of taste. Everything (especially the lunches and dinner meals) seems to have an extra generous serve of salt. I discovered my hatred for lentils and broad beans. I'll never look at 'roast meat' the same way again.

i did gained back time that i would've been 'wasting' cooking. I lost weight in my wallet mostly….

it did however, convince me to go back to cooking again (and food prep)….

the convenience is there, you get fed, there is variety, you save time cooking/prep-ing/shopping. Mind you, I will go for LnE in a heartbeat again when I'm time poor. If you have an hour or two to spare a day for cooking, then LnE probably isn't meant for you.

    • I've been on it about 5 weeks now and lost 5 kilos but I'm not that overweight to begin with and am also only on the 5 day plan so I have been pretty happy with that aspect, and it's good to have 2 days off a week to treat myself.

Maybe it's my love of salty food but I enjoy them quite a bit. That said there are certain meals I tend to stick to and I do worry that I will get bored of them :(

I agree that it is really good and convenient if you don't have a lot of time to spend cooking, it also helps you learn about portion sizes etc too.

$10 off orders over $120? whatever happened to those 10% off codes…

    • Why offer 10% in January when they know they're going to get enough business from the New Years Resolutioners. If you price a plan cleverly, you can get around 8% off with this code :)

      • -6

        8% off =/= bargain.

        • Do you have a cheaper example of the same product to share with us? Otherwise 8% off = bargain.

          @IceCreamBandit:
Is that your definition of a bargain? "Can't be found cheaper anywhere else right now?"

          You must be joking.

        • @YOTR: who is joking with you? List your bargain then.

        • @YOTR:

          Not my definition, but OzBargain's.

There's a store just opened at Southland S.C. (Vic), there is already one at Knox S.C. (Vic) called Last Minute Chef. A whole store of fresh prepared frozen meals. Decent size (400-500gm) meals for $5.95, the roast meat looks a bit unappealing but the rest looks good.

Mentioning here why? They have light options that are on par or lower calorie than Lite 'n Easy, cheaper, and convenient (if you live near a store).

    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Last-Minute-Chef/693306330762…

They also do party pack pastries, desserts, cakes, gluten free, family meals etc.

This was really popular in Europe, about time it came out here.
