You can also buy 53 bunches of Broccoli at Woolworths for $30 right now (57c a bunch). It will save you in short term self loathing costs/long term health costs.

    • Jabba does not approve.

    • If i could swallow that stuff i would buy it.

    • +1

      man you stink

      • I'd rather stink of broccoli than anchovies.

        • +8

lol. Cabbage would probably be the worst smelling out of all the vegetable group :P
Fact : I like eating pizza in my car with the windows closed to retain the gloriously greasy pizza smell for days. I'm a weird person.

          @wolfenator87:

Once i cooked a whole bbq in the 4wd with windows shut due to gale force winds outside.

Took a few months for the smell of gravy'd onions to disappear. Never again haha

      53 bunches of Broccoli

      Vile weed!

Yes but pizza is food for humans whereas broccoli is food you give livestock you despise.

      • … then the-formerly-called-livestock ended up in your pizza.

        Karma.

        • I'm a vego, but I'm gonna guess that the rebuttal to that one will be "in a much more delicious form", or something to that extent.

So.. not really karma. Or if it is, it'd be a very tasty form of karma to the meat-eaters.

        • @waterlogged turnip:
[Homer ON]Steak with broccolis covered with cheese melt…hmm… droolz…[Homer OFF]

@waterlogged turnip: Ofcourse, you're a vegetable you silly Turnip! and don't forget that.

    I paid with Master Card.
Can I have price protection? :)

They'd better pony up that $3 refund or tg gonna be mad bro!

    • +1

      Can you return the goods?

  • Not quite as good as a few weeks back (same deal with 1GB 1 drink for $25 delivered), but none the leee will be buying! Lunch and dinner sorted, thanks OzBargain.

Edit: actually it's better, I was adding on $4 for 2 sides (pickup cost) for a total of $29. 2 sides are actually $6 delivered with coupons, for a total of $31.

      mmmmm……1 Gigabyte pizza. ;-)

      • Garlic bread ;)
Gigabyte pizza sounds like a good idea though! All those bytes!

        • +2

Yes I knew it was Garlic Bread….tell you what I'll meet you half way and make it a Gigabread. Sounds much better than Garlicbyte at least.

        • +1

I eat my pizza 1 Gigabyte at a time. A slice is about 4GB.

  • or could cook a $5 meal at home, and save $25

    isnt that the OzB way???

    • A $5 meal? I take it you're talking about ramen and noodles? Last I checked very few ingredients cost $5 let alone the whole meal. You certainly won't be incorporating meat.

~$8 for a pizza isn't actually that terrible. You could certainly make nicer pizza for that but you'd have to buy in larger quantities and live on pizza which is even less healthy. Heck even frozen pre-made pizza costs more if you want something edible.

Personally I prefer the taste of pizza hut pizzas but if you look at home much more oil is left in the box on those compared to dominoes you have to wonder how much less healthy they are.

One more tip - if you care about healthier pizza (not healthy just healthier) do go getting the fancy or thick crusts.

      • why is the thick crust(deep pan) healthier? I simply prefer it thick but I'm curious now.

        • I meant to say DON'T go getting thick or fancy crust.

Lots of bread is not good for you. Associated with diabetes, has more kilojoules so increased weight.

        • @syousef: Carbs = energy. Just don't over do it. I tend to eat low-gi breads and carbs usually.

    • Also depends on where you live, if I didn't have a/c, I wouldn't of cooked last night at all…

    • 3x McCain pizzas (about $5.95 ea) $17.85
      Woolworths GB 2pack $2.35
      2x 1.25L ($2 ea) $4
Extras for pizzas (usually I add cheese, sometimes pineapple, etc) ~$2 each
(Cheese alone is about $5 a pack for pizza blend! stuff isn't cheap)

      $24.20 without extra toppings.
      $30.20 with extra toppings.

      Add in driving to shops
Add in power costs (about $0.5-$1 if electric oven)
Add in cooking time (how much do you value your time?)
      Add in convenience cost.

      • +3

its a good price, thats why i voted.

however, it funny how people spend money they normally wouldnt, in order to save money ;)

        • Fair point

    • As a single non-vegan person, the only way to attain $5 per serving is either:
1 - Cook up plenty of chicken wings / legs and eat the rest as leftovers
2 - Buy a "reduced to clear" microwaveable meal.

      • +2

perhaps $5 to feed a few people was bit optimistic. Can i change it to $15?

    Or try 531634
if your local store accept it,

  • just used this with cc, seems to work fine

  • How Do i get 3 Mogul pizzas for $30? The code only applies to traditional pizzas.

  • thanks used this today when my friends came over :)

dont FORGET to use the swap hack.

you're allowed to take off two ingredients and replace them with two others, without surchage. for each pizza.

so long as you order online.

    doesnt apply to oregana though,
i think you can freely add extra oregana for no cost lol.

    • There are a few free ingredients. I could actually see them say free when I last ordered. Another one is chilli flakes
