Long time lurker, first time poster. Came across this vacuum cleaner on COTD's Stocktake Sale 20% off in cart from $119.99 down to $95.99 + postage. Quick check online, other retailers selling approx. $180. Reviews on Productreview.com 3.3/5 and OO.com 4.7/5. I do not own this vacuum cleaner so cannot comment on product quality.

  • Are these any good?

    • I can't comment on product quality but reviews on other websites seem pretty good for a $100 vacuum cleaner.

I have one of this and very happy with performance.

  • I tried to use THANKYOU as coupon code but it told me "Coupon conditions have not been met. ". Any idea why? Thanks

    • Yes, you need to log in and it's not available for new members - you have to have been a member when the code was released.

      • Thanks for your answer.

  • Anyone used this before? 1300W seems pretty weak in terms of suction power…

  • Note to OP:
BDAY coupon code expired last week (31/12/2014).

  • This looks identical (apart from colours) to a model Aldi sell a few times a year with 3-year warranty for, from memory, either $89 or $99. Aldi's is rated at 2,000W. I have used the Aldi one for over a year and find it works well.

There is one minor design fault which this bargain model would also suffer: if you are vacuuming something high - cobwebs, for example, and you need to lift the machine off the ground while you work, the handle you lift it with is on top of the barrel and the act of lifting the unit breaks the seal between the barrel and the body of the machine. You still get suction, but considerably reduced. Apart from this, the Aldi model has been excellent.
