  • lynx $2.86 thats really good

    • What size is it?

      • 96~100 grams

I'm not keen on the Lynx these days. I think they changed the formula; it smells like talcum powder or something similar as a base smell. In a household with many males and many deodorant options, the Lynx sits on the shelf whereas it used to be the first used.

I prefer the Nivea Men which has 50% more volume (almost anything does compared with Lynx) and is on special at Coles until Wednesday at half price.

I agree with you on Lynx. For someone who sweats a lot when running, the sweat mixed with Lynx is not a good smell. For me, I only use Nivea, Norsca (always selling for $2.99 around every 2nd-3rd week at Coles, or Rexona).

  • Sanitarium Up & Go Or Oats 3pk $2.23
    Rexona Antiperspirant Deodorant $3.02

I hope I can find these in stock. Especially Rexona Dry.

      Rainchecks my friend

Good point. I still don't go to Coles that often though so to make the special trip there, stock would make it better.

    • Just noticed the half price Rexona is the 90g size can not the full size 150g can. Personally I don't think the 90g can at $3.02 is a great buy especially when Coles do the Norsca 150g for $2.99 every 2nd - 3rd week.

      • Oh really? I don't know the size of my cans. It could be handy for international travel…

        Internaional Luggage Restrictions
Less than 100mL or less than 100g.

        • +1

Yeah these are fine to have as carry-on luggage but for those who are just after them for normal use, you can probably get a better deal on other products.

      • Rexona 150g go $3.38 at Woolies.

    Good dead on bacon

    • +1

      Glad it's not alive.

$8.50 is real the price of bacon. Around once a month.

1 ltr coconut water $3, been waiting on that for a long time

    • Very good price per litre at the supermarket, indeed.

It is possible to get it cheaper at Asian grocers, but national prices like this across one of the major two is definitely far more convenient and +1 worthy.

      • what is a good asian grocer price?

Saw the UFC brand for $2.60 per L bottle recently in Burwood, NSW recently.

I buy it from a warehouse (same brand) at almost cost price for $2.50/L, if that's anything to go by.

        • @waterlogged turnip: UFC = Ultimate Fighting Coconuts? :p

        • @tdw: LOL.

        • @waterlogged turnip:
Thanks. I've always been concerned the very cheap brands have been watered down. Is UFC a good one u think?

        • +1

@Son ofa Zombie: I find it tastes just the same as other coconut waters. Definitely not watered down in flavour. Any slight differences in flavour you detect even within the same brand should be expected (personally I'd worry if it was consistent all year round!) purely because of seasonal changes you'd get with any fresh fruit. If they're really not from concentrate with nothing added, like they all claim to be (the ones we're talking about anyway), then some batches are a bit sweeter I find… while others can be a little more subtle in flavour.

UFC was sweet. Very definitely young coconutty :) I mean look at the "bulk prices" of the same brand/bottle online. Ridiculous: http://www.whet.com.au/ufc-refresh-coconut-water-100-natural…

Supermarket ones are stupidly overpriced. They get away with it because of the health hype around it, even though coconut water has been around for decades at far lower prices in asian grocers. People will clearly still buy the stuff at >$6 a litre. I know this because I used to! lol

      • Usually those brands found in Asian grocers contains preservatives and sugar added.

  • Is this all the specials at coles or just the noteworthy ones?

    • +1

      Defintely not the only specials.

    • 40 Pages for WA. Includes alcohol…

I hate it when Doritos are this cheap - I buy about 5 packets and eat them in 3 days or so :(

    • paid $1.99 last night at IGA. kids love the their nachos.

  • About time Rexona was half price. It's been a while since the last half price between Woolies or Coles (can't recall who it was). Time to stock up again

  • Would you please change the wording on the UP and GO promotion?

I think it applies to the Energize range but not the regular range. The notation about the Oats varieties is correct.
