      UK games work without a problem on AU consoles coz both of them share the same region format.

          Just as extra confirmation, I purchased this actual game when I was in London and it worked with no issues on my Australian 3DS.

        The game will work, but if you are after the Club Nintendo points also UK points won't work on Australia Club Nintendo.

          That was the Wii U Premium 10% back on purchases that ended in December.
          I am talking about the Nintendo Point card you get in every 3DS game.
