      IIRC it's active as soon as you log in… If not, the promo will come up on your home screen.

    One of the conditions states that you require an "Xbox live gold subscription". That doesn't make sense since this ad is for a free Xbox live gold subscription. Anyone have any input on this particular 'mistake'?

    Nothing showing up on my xbox either. I have xbox live, but not Gold currently. There's an "Australia Day" ad on my console, but it takes you to a sign up screen for Gold.

    I think this will start based on American time. Tried to play Guitar Hero online and it gave me a 'you do not have permission to play online' message.

    Logged in, start a game, did not work. Find nowhere to activate this, maybe as the t&c you need a gold live subscription to enjoy the free gold live membership?

    The only mention of the live free weekend is on the supplied page. There's no mention of it on the website, facebook page or dashboard. The given page isn't even readily accessible. Something's up.
