Got this offer from Groupon.
i am looking at various deals for Tandem Dive , most of the companies are quoting around $400 0r $450.
This price for 14,000 ft is very reasonable.

i am from Perth.
for week end price in YORK is $249+$35= $284 ( I think best price for week end)

i called the company for Photos and videos they said Only Photo and package will coast around $160 on top of $284.which is common.
if you are interested Go ahead.

      changed :)

    • They haven't mentioned about anything Levy fee. I dont know whether its applicable in nsw or not.
we have to pay in WA.

for WA it's the cheaper price as far as i know.

some companies they don't mention about Levy fee in advertisement and they will tell on site when u go for jump.

it's better to call the company and confirm before u book the deal.

      • same people i booked with in NSW, didn't need to pay any levies

as you mentioned, i can't speak for WA though, maybe someone can confirm

      • Levy fee is likely APF membership. If you have jumped in the last 3 months this should be waived.

        • Not really true. I went last weekend and didn't pay any fee for the membership. The APF membership only required a form to fill out. The only charges on top that you would pay are the video and/or photos charges. Regardless of the fee, it's still cheaper to go through Adrenalin with the discount codes.

        • @pawan1993:
The apf charges $35 for your pink card. So the levy is likely for this. Most operators just absorb the cost though and do not disclose it. Irregardless if you have a pink card you should be asking for your $35 back.

  • I have skydived from 14,000ft and the free falling is the best feeling ever! I love it.

    Will do again!

Is skydiving something I want to go cheap on? Just sayin'…

If you saw how cut price these companies run you wouldn't do it at all

      • Save on fuel by flying almost vertical to 14k ft. Then glide the plane to safety.

        • No way they dive bomb it back down.

        • Optional parachute fee $200 :)

    • Certainly a one-way trip isn't something I'd want from them…

  • Skydiving is not something that I normally haggle over the price or look for a discount.

  • Five people died skydiving in York between '03 and '05. All accidents and might even be a different company now but still enough to put me off.

    • Less than 1 in 100,000 chance of dying skydiving (per jump - and considerably safer tandem)

This seems pricy tho.. I think my fiance paid $180 at Adrenalin for me to do a 9,000 ft jump (altho they took everyone to 14,000 ft anyway) - plus around $30 insurance levy thing.
