I purchased a pair for myself and there were still around a hundred pairs left at the Crossroads Sydney store.
I love these for the Family Jewels get adequate ventilation through the button fly.
Mostly dark blue.
Not sure when it started and how long it is going for. Maybe at other shops as well.

It could be but I have never been caught out. All my jeans are 501s.
I think the zipper version is 504s (my favourite style of jeans).
That's exactly why they're so cheap - nobody wants buttons. You'll never see the 504s being sold for this price.
Not nobody - I much prefer a button fly. I was reluctant the first pair I got, and thought I'd hate it, but it converted me.
Costco sell the 514's for mid forties, not sure of the difference but sure are comfy.

not sure the exact number, bought a levi form costco (because the price is great), the worst fit ever. now using it for garden work.
Mine fit just fine, I have noticed though that Levi's made in China can be funny.

Personally i prefer the fit of the urban star jeans they sell at costco ($19). For me they are the most comfortable jeans i have worn, I used to swear by levis, now i dont know that i could go back.
The 501s have been at costco for a LONG time, so i dare say they arent going anywhere, not anytime soon atleast. From memory theyve always been about that price but dont hold me to that.
Is costco still worth the $60.00 membership, Im not sure its a cheap as it was when it opened?
