    why would they not accept credit cards?

    if i have a $20 gift card on an item of clothing that is $80. will this $20 voucher still be valid? or will i have to save my gift card for another time in order to take up this offer?

      Maybe they are referring to paying off one's Myer Visa card … that kind of credit card payment … :) I'm not sure either

      theyre saying credit card payments off the card. like u cant get a discount on paying back debt. but only on items you are about to buy.

      and yes u can use any gift card as if it were real cash irrespective of any discount offers. treat it like cash

    Credit cards charge a fee per transaction to the retailer, guessing Myer is stretching it thin(if any) on some of their current electrical deals, it might be a decision they regret, but again $10 off every $75 on top of there catalogue prices is pretty damn good if you got the cash.

    No mention of gift cards, just price matching, Lay-by and credit payments, so you might be good on that one, but you can confirm to be sure.

      pretty much anything ticketed or in the catalogue is valid. for electrical that means pretty much 13.3% discount for up to the highest multiple of $75. the reason why they do this is because its a great discount but inevitably some items are gunna be priced like 149$ instead of $150 which means you only get $10 off as opposed to $20 because of that $1 difference. this saves them profit than just giving a straight 13% off

      so look at the catalogue and work out the discount ontop of that

      The logic seems to be that as they're not included, they are therefore excluded…

    Confirmed that Digital Cameras are included! (Not sure if DSLR is included as well. )

    Bought my Sony TX-1 from HN after price matching with Myer's price. $515-$60=$455. Will then get $50 cash back from Sony + 9% GST will be claimed when travelling overseas next month. Also got a 4G Sony Memory Stick from HN for just $35 ($59.9 RRP)
