not sure about this tool in particular, but both Bosh and Black and Decker laser levels can be had for <$100 on ebay. I'm going to have to neg this. feel free to prove me wrong

    • Can you link to one you found to compare?
      Thanks

    • You've made the claim elcheapoinoz - you provide the evidence!
(Not our job to prove you wrong after you've negged the deal)

    first result on ebay?
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BLACK-DECKER-Bullseye-Auto-Leveli…

    Not a p##$$% contest.
just found it cheaper, thats all, no need argy bargy. prove it kind of thing.

    • Don't think that is a fair comparison on eBay, you are assuming all lasers are the same

      • Actually.. that is thew exact reason why I said "not sure about this tool in particular"

There are even cheaper level lasers, I just chose one that I think (without any great knowledge of level lasers) should be the same or comparable.. at least it's brand name.

in essence. all i'm saying, is it's not a great deal, and with 5 second research can be proven otherwise.

Let alone searching on google or amazon.. possibly better deals out there.

  • More expensive than all these

At least I've heard of Black & Decker

  • Looking at the links, it's very easy to see that the assumption "all lasers are the same" has been made.
None of them have the equivalent number of features as the ones I have on offer.

The black and decker one only has 2 laser outputs and is suited to small jobs like hanging a picture frame.
It needs to be installed on a wall (damage the wall) and will only project lines 3m away, which is useless on larger jobs. Not to mention the accuracy of your line will diminish each time you need to move the unit to a new point.
It can not rotate, it has less than half as many laser outputs, it does not come with batteries and charger, no glasses, it can not be used outdoors and is not suitable for use with a detector.
Its a VERY basic laser level with limited capabilities and uses.

The levels I have on offer have all the features of all the smaller levels, plus features from levels that are hundreds of dollars more expensive.

Heres a few to compare with, that have similar specs.
It has the same features as the IMEX LX55:

    Another cheap alternative is this:

Both of which are more expensive.
