clients are booking their USA ski holidays right now for Xmas-Jan, but a domestic flight in OZ ?
I think tiger must get a high noshow rate, ie, people book these flights & then forget about them, but can Tiger overbook like most airlines ?
FYI-most airlines work of NO SHOW averages. Say they have 100 seats, they might take 103 bookings, based on 3% or more average no shows.
Occasionally 101-103 might turn up & then people get bumped, so always check in early, unless airline has a no overbooking policy (some smaller airlines don't overbook)
Not so bad if you get bumped to a flight 30 or 60 mins later, but a day or 2 later on international flight, can be really annoying but it happens all the time.
Travel period is 13th of October to 16th December for most flights. That's a long time in advance to book…
I often book a year in advance, if the price is right (which it usually is).
Not that I'd book Tiger flights any more. I'd just use them to price match with Jetstar.

I've flown with tiger before, not bad for short domestic. $100 return to Gold Coast from sydney for 2 people, almost worth it

it's about an hour flight, with the money you save can be converted into beer vouchers.
In Melb we used to just sit in the TigerClub after checkin - sit on the milk crates out the front with our BYOs. its amazing how quick those 2hr flights go when you spend most of it queuing to use the onboard dunnies.
2 for 1. Does that mean that you'll have to book it, or pay for it, twice to eventually get the one flight?
Its like the 2nd pass travel free. So if you find another travel partner then its 50% for both.
This is best deal for flights. I am sure Jetstar is going to have same sales soon.
