  • Omg. No fair. I bought it recently for $500 and thought that was good… this is reallyyy cheap. And the battery life lasts about 10 hours?

Whoops.., that depends on the version. Mine was the 1005ha-h/1005ha-p. And this one doesn't seem to be. This looks like the worser version with 3-cell battery and 0.5MP webcam.

  • I bought the higher spec model from the US a while back (1005HA-P). Awesome little computer for travelling with.

Pricing now is exceptionally good, for about AU$500 you can get one express mailed in. And with the global warranty, the only drawback is you'll need a converter for the power point!

    • or you could get one @ jbhifi delivered from less :) and maybe if you go into the store and be very nice with the sales person he might chuck a few goodies in as well ;)

      • The one advertised here is a different version from the high-spec version (which is $500 mailed in). This one is pretty average.

        • my apology.. read between the lines…

  • yes, the high end 1000HA-P mentioned by RandomNinja is different to the one offered. you'd get better value for your $500 by getting the higher end model. Its processor is N280 (not much diff compared to N270 - having used both) battery life of higher end model is up to 10.5hrs as compared to 4hrs and the camera is 0.3M instead of 1.3M. Im not sure if this one has bluetooth though.
