Caveat emptor.
- HDdecibel.com provides us with no ABN (I assume they don't have one since they aren't using a com.au domain), and the "business" appears to be run out of an apartment (or two).
- I can find no feedback about them anywhere on the web other than a few dodgy looking "reviews" here: http://shopping.yahoo.com.au/xMR-hd+decibel+merch~MRD-472017…

- The specific models they sell all have a history of being counterfeited.
Funny they say in their mission statement "why risk dodgy counterfeits on eBay" when I can't see anything at all that would give me confidence that they are themselves legitimate.

Hey guys,
I bought a Sony MDR-EX85 (you can see the unit on his website) from Ryan, approx 4months ago. So far, the unit has been treating me well and sound quality shows that this Sony unit is definitely an original product.
Met him to complete the transaction, inspected a couple of his earphones and they seem original. A real friendly and helpful guy. Not so sure about his Bose range tho, haven't got a chance to view them just yet.

He personally emailed me about the Bose and I saw the link on ozbargain, that's why I created an account to help Ryan out.
ps : I saw his ad on the uni's marketplace, so I didn't buy the earphones via yahoo shopping.
pps : I said approx, as I wasn't sure how long ago, and come on, 3 months and 25 days is relatively close to 4 months right??? And i spelled tho as in "tho" not "thou" like the your self-acclaimed fake reviews.
Ryan would have already commented about our suspicions already if they weren't fake products.
I suppose you can pay via paypal and if anything goes sour you could always dispute it from paypal? Just a thought,
Quite tempted to get the CX500 but dont want to end up with a fake overpriced CX500 while I would have been more then happy with a CX300 for 89 at JB
Good price but I didnt like them the last time i got one of these.. Nothing spectacular but i must say they are very comfy
