  • Haven't eaten Dominos' pizza in a long time, but this deal sounds like it deserves a like+!

      Your link says FROM $5.95…

      I hear an echo.

    • +6

No one on ozbargain orders extra toppings or extra cheese in the crust and other gimmicks like that, so it's safe to say it's $5.95 :)

      • With one exception..
If there's ever a deal on cheesy crust or extra toppings, we may just order it.

    • +1

If it could be changed to from.. (http://i.imgur.com/nqzvwku.png)

Idiot… we put our own cocktail prawns on and throw it in the oven. Don't you?

        • Wow, what's your problem?

And it's a Chicken surcharge as well..

  • Wow that's cheap.

  • so cheap…. good deal!

  • Damn it, I ordered 2 x Tradition Pizzas at $5.95 each last night :( Could've gotten 2 extra drinks with this haha.

    • It's 1 drink per order though. Unless your ordered separately.

      • I was gonna ask if u can order 2 orders to get 2 pizza and 2 bottles?

        • Yes you can. I've stacked coupons several times like this before.

    • Offer starts today 16/2/15 so probably wouldn't have worked even if you enter the code.

      • Yea I know. It's just that I hardly order any pizza and if this offer was available yesterday, then it would've been perfect timing. $5.95 for one pizza is still good though.

  • Nice!

Dance in their front window for 15 minutes in a mankini in lieu of payment.

        • I just burst out laughing at this……

        • Maybe you can pay off the arresting officers with pizza.

        • what exactly is a mankini?

          is like budgie smugglers?

This one just came to my inbox. You know, those emails no one signs up for.
Posted it an hour after I received it so was surprised I was the first to post.

It said Doubleview (WA) store only, but most of the time the codes aren't specific to the store.

  • What's the best or most popular pizza here?

    • Something with a base.

      • nonononono bace

      • +3

It all about that base, bout that base - no topping :P

    • Modified supreme. Remove stuff, add season chicken. Add basil, chilli flakes and garlic sauce.

      • is the chef's best any better compared to the traditional?

        • which chef?

        • More generous toppings but a little smaller

  • It all looked good until I processed the order and the reply was I can't place the order at the selected store (Adelaide CBD).

    • (Adelaide CBD).

just get a pie floater instead…

    • Seems to work once I removed prawns :(

      • So that's what they do when they run out of prawns :)

      • Don't be sad about missing out on the prawns, they are imported from Vietnam. Horrible tiny little things and could be contaminated just like frozen berries from third world countries.

if you order a week in advanced, what happens? Do they make them and let it warm up or do they cook them later?

    • They make and cook it about half an hour before it's supposed to be picked up.

    • They just cook it straight away and leave it in the warmer. You know how many preservatives there are. BTW I LOVE pizza. Delicious, thrifty, pizza.

      • My local store (Mona Vale) appears to cook it last minute. I usually turn up 5 min early, and most of the time they aren't ready.

        • Better you wait than the pizza wait.

        • @ATangk: Yep, problem is they're usually too hot to eat straight away xD

        • @iChopstick: How eager are you to dig in? I thought pick-up implied that you would take it home to eat, by which it is at a perfect temperature to start chewing through the cheese.

        • +1

          @ATangk:

I thought pick-up implied that you would take it home to eat

What about "pick-up" suggests that to you?

Also, if we are supposed to take it home then why do some stores have an area to sit down and eat at the store?

        • @kamoi: They dont have sit down areas in the stores where i live. I havent seen a Dominos with chairs which were designed for anything except waiting for pick up yet.

        • +2

@ATangk: They have chairs and table to eat in store in Epping, NSW. However it is still pickup as they don't serve the pizza to your table.

        • +1

          @ATangk:

I've seen many stores which have chairs and a table so they definitely exist. Then there is also the Surfers Paradise store which has A LOT of tables :P

Anyway, I still don't see how "pick-up" in any way suggests taking the pizza home.

    • they rub their crystal balls and cook it before you even order it.

Chili lime pulled pork with vietnamese slaw? What's with the funky flavours.

    Thanks OP

Usual order of peri peri beef turned chicken.

The attendant had the most puzzling look as he was looking at receipt, taking out the coke from the fridge and asking for $5.95.

    • +8

You know you're a professional when you get that look.

    • Had the same thing in Elizabeth st store in Sydney, he checked three times!

  • is it wrong to eat a whole chef's in under 5mins

    • No. It's wrong to eat 3 whole chef's in under 5 mins.

  • Cheers, combined with the other voucher to get a chefs best pizza, value pizza and a coke for $9.90.

By the way I think I just invented the next level Hawaiian pizza… Chicken Camembert chefs best, add ham, add pineapple, minus tomato, red onion & spinach on creme fraiche sauce.OMG.

    • +1

Replacing three toppings with two? That's not OzB worthy.

  • +3

I remember a similar deal a few years ago…. I put in my order, thought I would turn up a few minutes early and hope to get it straight from the oven.

Well, I got a lot more than a hot pizza! The manager was on and they came over and gave me a hard time, saying the code shouldn't have been accepted, how they are losing money because of "people like me" and that I better not try this again.
They finally accepted my money and I got my pizza. I didn't just get "the look" I got THE look from everyone in the store like I was trying to hold up the place.

The next week I ordered again, the vouchers were mailed out for my area so it's not like I was doing anything wrong.
I did things a little differently though, I paid for my order online straight after it was placed.

Now I still get "The look", but it's mainly of confusion on the poor young kid handing over my pizza and reading the order back with price.

    • +9

You need to give THEM 'the look'. Be the one that intimidates them. Get some confidence dude, go in there ready to make a scene if they question you again. It will never happen again.

      • +3

They shouldn't give out codes if they are losing money, how rude.
        I would of exploded.

    • Not sure if I'd be game to eat the pizza when they clearly don't want your business.

      • i wonder how many businesses would try something dirty and risk heavy fines/litigation?

        • I do wish the average Dominos store didn't put the drinks fridges in the way of the cooked pizzas coming out, its almost like they are hiding things. Puts foil hat on

        • +1

@Spackbace: is that the same foil hat they use to "keep pizzas warm"? squints suspiciously

  • Entered the code in the app and it comes up as offer for 1 traditional pizza + drink…

Edit: it does cover the whole range. But there is a surcharge for certain pizzas (prawn).

  • +2

Just ordered a Chef's Best Grand Supreme - less Olives and Tomato Capsicum Swirl and replaced with Camembert Cheese and Hot Buffalo Sauce.

    $5.95 pick up….can't wait for 12pm…

still working at some Perth metro stores

  • This doesn't work anymore in Sydney CBD :(

  • +3

My code was not accepted on-line, with the description being that my store was "not participating". I then rang the local store, the manager agreed to honour it while he looked into the matter further. Upon arrival, he told me that the code was "only for Western Australia". Payment took place ok, nothing adverse said, but the look on his face was as if I had just burned his house down. I don't think he will allow me to do it again.

    • +2

"but the look on his face was as if I had just burned his house down."

Ouch.. Yeah I seen that. Like you did something untoward to his wife and made him watch

Hmm.. If I had known individual stores foot the bill for all the free stuff I been getting I wouldn't have taken advantage of my local cos they're so nice.. Thought head office reimbursed em.. :/
