Saw plenty of these at Burwood NSW (Plaza) Woolworths store. There were glass and ceramic double wall mugs with silicone lids. There was also a batch of woolworths essential steel mugs/flasks. I don't think they were double wall though.
Anyway, cheap coffee/tea mugs. Don't know if this is AU wide or not. Please report :-)
What volume are they? Dishwasher safe?
I'm not too sure on the volume, they do hold a fair bit say 400-500ml. They recommend hand wash but my two have been going in the dish washer for months and are still fine.
edit: SORRY! The description below is for the transparent glass one, which isn't in the photo. Your woollies might have it. The porcelain one holds less - about 250mL if I remember right.
They hold one normal mug of liquid, which is about 330mL.
The bottom says "Hand wash recommended" and "Not microwave safe".
Also available in other stores. They are probably about 220-330ml and dishwasher safe. We bought some ceramic double walled ones and they were shit. Outer wall gets hot and hot drinks cool quick. We ended up buying 2 of the thermos cups from CotD and they do what is intended - not too hot to hold and keep the contents hot, at a better size (about 450ml)
I have some ceramic ones - they are cups, not mugs - sized to fit your cup-holders.
They do keep the drink hot for longer than a regular mug.
Obviously the glass mugs will stay hot a lot longer, as glass is thinner and less conductive.
And milk froth on top helps too. Doesn't matter how good the cup is if all the heat goes out the top.
That teapot for $2.30 at the bottom looks alright, might grab one for work lol
I'm quite sure the teapots cost more. The one at the bottom that's $2.30 would be the milk and sugar jugs.
I have two of the glass ones. Great for coffee based beverages. Great for the price.
